The musical number with Stewie and a live-action Gene Kelly is an edited scene from the movie Anchors Aweigh (1945). The sequence originally involved Jerry Mouse of Tom and Jerry fame. Stewie's reflection on the floor remains that of Jerry.
Peter is shown watching Губка Боб квадратные штаны: Krabby Land/The Camping Episode (2004). This episode's director, Dan Povenmire, was a writer on that episode of "Spongebob".
During the yard sale there is a video of Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story.
The title is based on the series of "Road" films that starred Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour.
This is the third "Road to..." episode. The others being 'Road to Rhode Island' and 'Road to Europe'.
When Stewie and Brian visit Gettysburg National Park there is an equestrian (rider mounted on a horse) statue visible in the background. That statue actually exists in the Gettysburg park. The statue is that of Confederate Lieutenant General James Longstreet (1821-1904) who commanded the First Army Corps during the battle of Gettysburg.
Spoof of Dumb & Dumber (1994)
'David Lynch''s Внутренняя империя (2006), along with the Расколотое небо (2006) are shown playing back-to-back at the Quahog drive-in theatre.
