The Booze Cruise II: The Treasure Hunt (2005) Online

Clive and Ruth have moved but Dave and Cath and Rob and Leone are taking part in a treasure hunt, organized by the enthusiastic Laurence and invite the visiting Daniel - who is surprised to find Chloe pregnant, not necessarily by him - to join them. Their competition comes in the form of Grace and Maurice and her grumpy mother Elsie but they have an extra ally in the lordly Marcus, whom Dave sees as an influential business contact. Unfortunately Elsie dies and her body disappears, so Maurice and Grace plan to withdraw - leading the others to invite them to join their team. Grace wows Maurice at a karaoke session and puts pressure on Marcus to aid Dave's promotion hopes. Daniel drops out to be with Chloe when she gives birth and Rob is exposed as ringing a mystery woman called Jackie whilst overall the Booze Cruise team may or may not have won the treasure hunt.

This is brilliant. Booze Cruise 2. Now a good deal of the time sequels are not very good (pointing it politely) but this is. BC2 takes the characters from BC1 and gives them something totally new to do. Nothing repetitive in it, all fresh ideas (and a couple of fresh faces). This maybe a spoiler but ill outline it. They are all off on a Treasure Hunt and nothing ever goes to plan. Pretty much like the first one. There are a few loose ends that could have been tied up but hey, leave them for another sequel. The jokes and gags of Neil Person are so schoolboy you would be hard pushed not to laugh at him and poor Brian Murphy on the receiving end all the time from everyone. This is a must. A mixture of British comedy and drama all in one. Now i got it on DVD, i cant stop watching this nor the other two.
