Alright, well I had expected this to be just another one of the endless teenage college comedies, but this movie was far from that. I would say it is more like a mature odd-romantic story.

The story was actually quite alright, and it was easy to get immersed into the storyline and relate to the characters. Not saying that I have a sex problem, haha... But what I mean is that the characters were so nicely chiseled out and portrayed that you immediately felt for them and came to grow with them.

As the for cast, well there was a lot of really nice performances here. Both from the lead and supporting cast. And they all worked very well together, making the movie work as a whole.

The movie is labeled as a "comedy", but I didn't really laugh throughout the entire movie. The movie did manage to make me smile once in awhile, though. But don't get me wrong, I am not saying that this is a crappy movie. It was just wrongfully labeled in my opinion. The movie works great for what it is.

Actually "Group Sex" is a movie that you should sit down and watch, because it is a nice and captivating story. Not one that will stick with you for the rest of your life, but still good enough to keep you entertained for an hour and a half.

I've seen plenty of cookie-cutter "chick flicks". And this film certainly falls under that category based on it's VERY predictable storyline. HOWEVER, this film separates itself from the rest of its genre by it's extremely raunchy and hilarious comedic aspect. For any guy that has gotten used to watching chick flicks with his GF and had to sit through Joan Cusack as the comedy relief.... You will LOVE this film. Greg Grunberg, Tom Arnold, Henry Winkler, Lisa Lampanelli... And it doesn't stop there. This is a really, really funny movie! I understand why this film never hit theaters, but if you want a movie that a girl will like and a guy will LOVE... this is it!

I picked this movie thinking it'd be good ol' raunchy comedy. I was disappointed that it wasn't raunchy but was still happy for it's fun.

This movie was well done. The ambiance was good enough. Lighting and sound was good, acting was good, and the plot was decent enough. The plot is as old as Jesus himself but was executed quite well. A guy sees a girl from across the room and falls in love. Now, you get to see how he tries to win her heart.

In this case, it's by attending her support group meetings for sex addiction. As the days go on, he learns more and more about her and wins the admiration of the other group members. Throughout, there are a few chuckles here and there but never a raunchy moment. And yes, in the end, he gets the girl.

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit and recommend it to both single people as well as people in relationships. Put down the game controller, bust out a pipe, and enjoy the show.

It's my fault for being a fan of Greg Grunberg ever since first catching a glimpse of him as the pilot in the pilot of Lost and then seeing another 30-seconds of him in Mission: Impossible III, that I watched the streaming version of Group Sex from Netflix. I also made it through the only good season (#1) of Heroes to see him, then quit after episode 0206, or so, when I got bored with old Japan.

But, I digress…I thought this would be another "smart" sexually deviant comedy, i.e. The Hangover, Hot Tub Time Machine or any Paul Rudd feature. Unfortunately, it was just another LIE movie that I'm getting so sick of. So much so, I felt the need to create a LIE sub-movie-category for my website.

They say there's only so-many actual plots floating around since (wo)man could write. What is it? Three basic plots? Seven? I think there should be a new one introduced called: The LIE plot. This is where someone inadvertently gets involved with someone (99% the opposite sex) by being mistaken for (insert "hilarious" group, sexual preference, job, etc) and must maintain that alternative reality in order to get the girl/guy. Around the 80% mark of the film, the LIE is revealed and the significant other is turned off. Between 80%-95% of the film, the "Oh, woe is me…really, I am a great guy/gal and I was so wrong for wronging that person" period takes place and the inevitable reconciliation happens. 95%-100% is the makeup.

Sure, some films actually shock the sh*t out of me by not having the two get together at the end, and that, generally, will earn the movie a full extra star. But for the most part, it follows suit…and so very closely, you can actually clock the occurrences or funny scenarios to the minute.

For those people out there that see 1-2 or less movies a year, you'll be pleasantly surprised at these no-brainer films. I see 20-25 movies a month and the "effect" of the LIE movie does nothing for me anymore. Once it's confirmed it's a LIE movie, a frown is placed on my face until they prove to me they can do better by tweaking the centuries-old "trick."

Wow…that's my rant of the review. This "LIE" film involves Andy (Cooke) and his sex-crazed buddy, Jerry (Grunberg), two ad-execs who party all night when all Andy wants to be is loved. Incredibly, he shows this by following a complete stranger to her Sex-Addict Therapy Group and (as always) inadvertently, gets mistaken for someone struggling with sex addiction. Let the hilarity ensue.

He falls for her, Vanessa (Odette Yustman), but there's a catch! You can't have a relationship, namely sexual, with someone within the Sex-Addict Therapy Group. Duh. I bet you can't also wager on who'll succeed in Gamblers Anonymous or drink to the person most likely to survive in AA.

Regardless, Andy likes this girl and this puts a strain on his non-sexual, but very, very close relationship with Jerry. Make that, it's Jerry who's far too close with Andy. Jerry will stop at NOTHING to get his non-sexual boyfriend back while Andy's life is quickly falling apart in order to show he's better than the life he used to live.

Will he get the girl? Will he non-romantically make up with his non-sexual boyfriend, Jerry? Will he help others when his advertising job is at stake? You'll just have to watch…but come on. In addition to being a LIE film, as most of them turn out to be, it's a "Find Yourself" film and we all know where that leads.

I will admit, despite my shallow desires to watch the film solely on Grunberg's shoulders, he was the highlight of the film. His humor and one-liners were pitch-perfect. He stole every scene as did Tom Arnold, as usual.

Despite its predictable nature, it's a harmless picture, though for adults only. It's not the raunchiest film I've seen. In fact, if I were to guess, it would be in the bottom half of the top 50. But, it contains enough sexual situations and innuendos to ward off both the Republicans and local TV stations from showing even an edited version.

Again, if you only see 1-2 movies a year, or unfamiliar with a LIE movie, feel free to spend an hour and a half with these characters that you will have absolutely no idea where each will end up. Besides, Greg almost gets naked. That should be enough.

Terrible film Very unfeasible So corny and they make disgusting behaviour seemingly funny but not funny and downright stupid As if any of it would actually happen and there were no jokes Just a bunch of sad unrealistic actions

Do nit watch it

Total waste of your life As if any guy would continue being friends with someone who acts like that

Like anyone would give up their job and go to jail for someone else

And why wouldn't the guy have met Cynthia

Totally ludicrous

This movie played like a broken record. The same old story that we have all seen a thousand times! The only thing different with this was how perverse and vulgar they tried to tell it. Thats all fine and dandy if you can deliver it in a way thats actually funny. Thinking back on the picture i honestly cant remember one scene, were i laughed out loud or even smiled. Andy (The main Character), was a shy, heartbroken push-over desperately seeking true love. When a Beautiful girl in a bar catches his eye. LOVE at first sight?? Whatever!! Who Cares!! She runs out before he can speak, he follows her only to find shes the member of a very animated sex addiction group. Thats it!! Thirty minutes in i was wondering how much longer. This movie is a waste of time and money. There are hundreds of movies in this genre That actually worked. Don't Bother With this one!!

This kind of vibe you often get from movies where people enjoyed making them. Although the jokes are not very good, except a few, and are pretty vulgar without much impact, they are not bad either and the cast looks like they're enjoying doing them, so, you kind of get into the fun, too.

On the negative side, Odette Annable nee Yustman doesn't look very good in this movie and acts pretty bad. The story is weak in several places, seems like there were some cuts in the editing room to make it shorter. But, one aspect, the sudden realization that Odette Annable loves the main character is forced. I mean, sure, she likes him, but, love? We're not shown anything that could justify that. It's unlikely that they cut ¬15 min of movie that was needed to show that. It actually seems like just you plain-old bad story-telling.

So, if you're up for a fun, sex-oriented and vulgar movie, it's OK.

It is not the typical Teenage Comedy U might thought reading the title.

No Collage Partys No hard XXX Jokes or so one .

I had Fun watching the movie enjoyed some good Lines and an really nice Story.

So if U Up to an good Romantic Comedy I recommend to give this movie a shot it s worth it! For both Genders I would say. ------------------------- Oh I just see 'cause thats my first review that I had to come Up with 10 Lines for an Review . Hope my bad written English ( i m really bad even after I spend a long time overseas ) so who Cares I will give my best. ...........................

So an review Yes , OK I love Comedys aspecialy the Style that GroupSex represent.

This Movie was easy to watch. It brought you into the Story easily gave you some Clues straight away so you were eable to follow the characters and the Plot line with no Probs .

We see this to guys working and living together . One of them is an "Player" , the other one is more "normal".

The Normal One meats an Girl Follow her to an Meeting Of Sex Addicts. To spend some time with her he pretend to be one of them / Like his best Friend , the "Player".

As you already now can Imagine this isn t that good of an Idea.

We get to see some nice Conversations , the Yokes are all well placed and kind of realistic.

All in All i Would say a nice movie , with an good dialoge Script , good filming Job, Charming Actors / Characters.

Fun to watch. Not as good as Seth Rogen manages to bring an Message into his Kind of "Comedy" A little more trimmed to be MainStream , but really nice done. As I would say worth the Popcorn.

Most opponents of the death penalty think it is too lenient. It usually is over quicker than a murder, and it often seems the killer does not suffer as much as the victim must have. Plus, most of the U.S. is running out of lethal injection drugs. I'd like to make a modest proposal which will kill these three boo birds with one stone: make convicted murderers, as well as those found guilty of high treason, watch GROUP SEX 16 hours a day for as long as they can be kept alive. Featuring strippers who slap customers' hands if they try to insert bills into their G-strings, the nymphomaniac pictured on the DVD cover turns out to be in the market for a chastity pledge ring. If the motion picture academy members were sent double feature screeners coupling GROUP SEX with BUCKY LARSON: BORN TO BE A STAR, they'd probably vote the latter turkey a dozen Oscars just to wash away the taste of the former. If the Fonz made up to look like death warmed over doesn't put you off your feed, Tom Arnold whipping it out for "tool time" in the back of a ratty van will make you blow chunks. It is doubtful the U.S. would have any remaining problem prisoners on Gitmo if they had all been exposed to 16 daily hours of GROUP SEX from Day One. Ditto for Charles Manson eating at taxpayer expense for decades on end. Though bleeding hearts will brand GROUP SEX as "cruel and unusual punishment," I say it's about time we take off the kid gloves. Watch this movie once, and then imagine being stuck with it forever in a screening room with no exit. How long could you last?

This movie doesn't even deserve a review. It should be classified within the mass of movies we never heard of for a reason. I wouldn't say I didn't expect it with a name probably only appealing to people that wanted porn or idiots.

The whole movie is boring and a waste of time

IMDb wants more without giving the plot OK.

This movie is like sitting on a park bench that is backwards looking at a brick wall.

OK IMDb wants more.

If this is the first movie you ever saw you have seen every movie ever made that sucks.
