I have recently watched several of the Boston Blackie television episodes and they are entertaining. Now I am not saying they are works of genius, but for what they are, they are solid crime shows. Most importantly, many are available for free download at archive.org--and I like free downloads!

This is one of the weaker episodes I have seen--but it still is pretty good. Why is it weak? Well, it introduces one of the most complicated ways to kill someone--so complicated you wonder why they went to all this trouble. It does work, but as I said it's a big far-fetched. It seems when folks go into a phone booth, they are killed--but how and why? Naturally Blackie investigates and gets to the heart of the matter. And, it's nice to see Blackie's girlfriend not just standing passively by but she is an important part of the finale. Not great but interesting.
