Bloody Flowers is a low-budget French horror / thriller film, with a cult cast: Amanda Lear (she was the muse of the painter Salvador Dali) as a fashion star. This film is directed by a director known for his parodies, but Bloody Flowers is a serious and dark film. But it is still a tribute to the films of the 80s (Brian De Palma, Dario Argento ...) The music is also inspired by the original soundtracks of the 80s. The story is a bit complicated but the film is still a success. Paris and the girls are beautiful!

"Bloody Flowers" is a thriller made by French director Julien Richard under the pseudonym Richard J. Thomson in 2008. It's a very cheap B-movie, which was made in just two weeks and which looks extremely amateurish. It seems like a hilarious parody of the exploitation films of the 70s, full of gratuitous female nudity and full of bloody violence. The acting is terrible, over-the-top and ridiculous theatrical. Some scenes are rather laughable then scary. The dialogues are weak and unrealistic. The way of speaking is very unnatural. The English pronunciation is very weak. In some scenes the lip movements of the characters seem out of sync with the soundtrack. The scenario is poor. It looks a bit like 'grand guignol'. The music is written by the director and is very superficial and rather old- fashioned. It's the kind of boring synthesizer music you hear in porn movies from the 80's. This attempt to make a film is a surreal joke.
