Okay, this is one review of "Family Feud" that comments on both an episode of Ray Combs and one of Richard Dawson when he returned for the '94-'95 season. Both featured the male and female teams of "American Gladiators" competing against each other. The Combs one had on the female side: Jazz, Ice, Sky, Diamond, and Zap. On the male side: Tower, Laser, Turbo, Sabre, and Hawk. One of Ray's survey questions was "You're slower than__" to which Laser replied "Moses" (What?!) which got a strike. Ice replied "Molasses" which allowed her team to play. One weird answer that also got a strike was Sky's "snot" (Really?!) which she said was something she once said. The women got on Fast Money with Zap and Sky playing. When Zap was through with her answers, Ray held her shoulders and said, "You're really hard" to which she replied, "So are you, Ray." When Sky-who is taller than Ray-came on, Combs said, "I should either be up there or down lower, I can't read from here" to which she replied, "You're perfect, you're perfect". Anyway, when the latter got to the 200 with her second answer (to which Ray did his trademarked "Bam!" having said that several times during FM) the familiar theme music played as all the women hugged each other and Combs who then shouted, "I hope we never come back!" LOL! It was largely because of what I just mentioned that I highly enjoyed this episode. The rating for it is up above. In comparison, Richard's show was a little more sedate which is what I guess nine years out of the show (not to mention now being married to one of his former contestants with a little daughter in tow) would do to him. The fact that he had a toddler child was what probably got him to inquire Sky about her two daughters who she blew a kiss to on air. Besides her, the others were Ice, Zap, and newcomer Panther. On the male side-besides the returning Laser, Hawk, and Sabre-was Nitro. It was the latter and Sabre who ended up doing FM with Sabre providing some amusement when he started repeating many of Richard's words to which Dawson added, "I may not be getting the money since I just offended Richard" which got a laugh from Sabre. Anyway, he got past 200 on the fourth answer. According to the host, this was the next to last day for the teams. This one gets a rating of 6.
