Screenwriter Werner Liepolt is interviewed for this twelve-minute featurette, which has him discussing the cult film MALATESTA'S CARNIVAL OF BLOOD. The screenwriter starts off talking about how he ended up writing the screenplay and then from here he gets into a variety of stories dealing with the writing of the picture as well as the production. Fans of the movie will certainly enjoy hearing from the screenwriter and especially when you consider that the picture was basically lost for three decades. Liepolt does a very good job at telling some very fun and interesting stories about the screenplay including some things that didn't quite make the film. He seems rather honest about his thoughts on the film as well as the visual touches that the director gave the picture. There's nothing ground-breaking here but fans will certainly enjoy this.
