Thrifty shoppers should prepare to get slugged a little extra at the checkout when plastic bags are banned around the country, but it's not the only sneaky extra fee out there. Woolworths will become the first big supermarket to ban the bag from their store network. Customers will pay 15 cents for a re-usable bag if they've not brought their own, or 99 cents for a foldable bag. There will also be fee increases for online shopping and home delivery. Customers are angry as a result, many seeing the controversial ban as a money-making scam.
