Eagle eyed viewers will spot an early appearance from Katherine Kelly who looks very different from her later days in Coronation Street.

More importantly Roy Clarke plays a blinder with the creation of Entwistle played by Burt Kwouk, a man from the east; Hull.

Entwistle dispenses ancient eastern wisdom and repairs electrical items. Truly and Clegg get him to pretend he is Tom Simmonite who is being chased by a debt collector.

Howard meanwhile gets to do something amusing for a change. Inspired by a book he has been reading, he pretends to be El Bandito which brings him to conflict with Billy's Robin Hood.

Director Alan Bell has tried to refresh the look of the show for its 24th series, you can spot a few little changes in some shots such as Ivy in the cafe.
