When some things that belonged to Lucious Snow the previous recipient of the paper, are found. Gary sees that among them is a photocopy of one of the papers he got before he did something. And in it was the story of a boy from Indiana who was killed in an accident, named Gary Hobson. Gary tries to remember what were the circumstances of Lucious saving him. He also learns that Detective Armstrong is putting his career on the line to get a rich, spoiled who uses his money and influence to get off whatever trouble he gets into. Gary eventually learns that both, Lucious saving his life and the man Armstrong is trying to get is linked.

This episode was intended as the series finale although a scheduling mix up caused it to be aired before "Everybody Goes to Rick's" and "Luck o' the Irish".
