Three new participants are given a change to for a new leash on life. Lester Chuma come from Mbaula in South Africa, she is an 21 year old mother who is an avid soccer player in her spare time and wants to be an human recourse manager. Lucas de Beer is a Afrikaans police reservist who lives alone on a farm in Excelsior. Lucas dreams of finishing school and to one day become a police officer. In Mafikeng lives Boitumelo Tshwaoleses, a part-time secretary and mother with a love for music. She studies music in her spare time and wants to be a cultural activist. The three participants each receive a envelope telling them to make their way to Soweto.
