Due to construction of a new building near work, Uncle Bill (Brian Keith) needs to work at home for a few days. He needs peace and quiet. For some unexplained reason, Bill forgets that it's Friday and the children will be home for the same few days. Also, school's out next week. Buffy (Anissa Jones) and Jody (Johnny Whitaker) turn the television volume way up high. Cissy (Kathy Garver) receives numerous telephone calls and plays loud instrumental music. The house becomes very noisy. Bill and Mr. French (John Williams) decide to send the children off to camp and look forward to "a most enjoyable week." With the children away, French makes himself scarce and Bill invites three very beautiful women to help fill the empty apartment, but Buffy's doll "Mrs. Beasley" may help provide a better solution for Bill's loneliness.
