The Hunt for Bigfoot is the first student film I've seen that spent this much time on editing and production design, and to make it one of the best looking films that has come out of DVC. I do have my problems with the film, mainly with the writing, but the performances and pacing bring the film to a level where it keeps you drawn in and engaged. Not to mention that it has one of the best title sequences I've ever seen....

The Hunt for Bigfoot (2017) was a movie I had been looking forward to for some time. I saw the unfinished version at the 16th Aspiring Minds Film Fest in Pleasant Hill and couldn't wait for the finished product. The film is wonderfully directed and beautifully shot by the talented Dylan Powell. The writing and storytelling fit into the cinema that Justin Lewis is creating. Overall, the film is funny and hits the right notes.
