This short film is a collaborative work by three Byron Bay based artists. The film features musician Geoff Southward whose image is projected onto surreal images of Byron Bay filmed by artist Sean O'Shea and edited by Tracey Anderssen. Geoff plays guitar live to the footage, inspired by the ethereal imagery of popular landmarks including The Lighthouse, The Wreck and The Pass. Geoff's music is meditative and matched with Sean's visuals creates a deeply moving experience. This video hopes to convey the sacredness of Byron Bay and to remind it's audience of the power of nature and the importance of living sustainably with the planet. Byron Bay is a place of great beauty which must be honoured and protected.
