C.M. Punk's WrestleMania debut as one of the gangsters hanging off the side of a car during John Cena's ring entrance.

"The Hitman" Bret Hart did not appear at this Wrestlemania, despite being one of the Hall of Fame inductees. He was uncomfortable being at this event. His name was mentioned a few times during the Pay Per View, and only footage from Survivor Series (1997) was used during the McMahon vs Michaels 'No Holds Barred' match up.

WrestleMania 22 marked the first WrestleMania not to feature the winner of the Royal Rumble in the final match of the night since WrestleMania XV in 1999.

First WrestleMania that The Big Show was victorious in his match.

Mick Foley and Kurt Angle's last WrestleMania Match.

Before Eddie Guerrero's tragic death in Nov. 2005, he was scheduled to have a match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 22.

Mickie James' character at the time had changed from merely being a "fan" of Trish Stratus into a full-fledged "psycho" lesbian stalker, essentially the same role Tori (Terri Poch) had played in her storyline with Sable (Rena Mero) seven years earlier, but, Mickie found more success with it.

WrestleMania 22 marked the second WrestleMania at which Kurt Angle lost a title (three titles in total) despite not being pinned or made to submit.

John Cena's first WrestleMania main event.

First WrestleMania to be held in Chicago since WrestleMania 13 in 1997.

Kurt Angle's loss in the World Heavyweight Title match continued his 100% loss record in championship matches at WrestleMania, having also lost at Manias 16 (Intercontinental and European titles), 19 (WWE title) and 20 (WWE title). Angle however has a 100% win record in non title matches at WrestleMania, having won at Manias 17, 18 and 21.

Carlito, Finlay, Bobby Lashley, and Mickie James' first WrestleMania match. It was Finlay's WWE PPV debut and his first PPV appearance since "WCW Millennium Final" on November 16, 2000, and his first PPV on American soil since "WCW Uncensored 2000," since "WCW Millennium Final" was held in Germany.

First WrestleMania to not feature Chris Jericho since his debut at WM16, as he had left in mid-2005.

As of 2016,Kurt Angle's final Wrestlemania appearance.

The first Money in the Bank ladder match to combine wrestlers from both the "Raw" and "SmackDown!" brands

This was the first time in WrestleMania history that a tag team championship match was the opening match of the show.

Chris Masters, The Boogeyman, Sharmell, and Candice Michelle's only WrestleMania match.

Final WWE PPV appearance for Goldust until Cyber Sunday 2008.

The McMahon/HBK feud started out with Vince putting down Hart's DVD, and his eventual induction into the HOF. Storyline looked as though Bret would return to the WWE for the angle. But, he was still unhappy with the company. But, appeared for the Hall of Fame ceremony.....4 years later, leading up to Wrestlemania 26. In almost the same situation. Bret Hart would wrestle Vince in a "No Holds Barred" match.

Trish Stratus' last Wrestlemania as an active wrestler. She would retire 5 months later, and would not wrestle again til Wrestlemania 28.

Wrestlemania 22 would come to be the last 'mania to hold the event in a smaller arena. Due to it's popularity, 23 and then on. Wrestlemania would be hosted in large stadiums.

The outcome of the main event may have changed peoples opinions of Wrestlemania22, but believe me, this show was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, WWE delivered, giving us something we haven't seen in a long while - a lot lot of attitude.

Tag Team Championship Match - Kane&Big Show vs. Carlito&Masters - This was a good opener, the match itself was pretty good and the finish was exciting. Half way through though, the Carlito chants started, and Big Show and Kane actually got booed by a section of the crowd. Now if Big Show and Kane got booed, that was bad news for poor old John Cena.

The next match was the Money In The Bank Match - Rob Van Dam vs. Matt Hardy vs. Lashley vs. Finlay vs. Ric Flair vs. Shelton Benjamin. - Why was this match so low down the card? This was an amazing match, full of highlights and painful moments. RVD and Shelton Benjamin were amazing, Benjamin stole the show again with another amazing trick with a 10 foot ladder. The ECW chants filled the arena, RVD was clearly the fan favourite. Great ending as well. RVD wins and becomes the new Mr. Money In The Bank.

United States Championship - Chris Benoit vs. JBL - This was a pretty good match, Benoit was great. Cheap finish though. I was not expecting JBL to win a at all. JBL rolls up Benoit and holds onto the ropes for the win. New champion.

Hardcore Match - Mick Foley vs. Edge - Oh My God. Joey Styles was brought in to call this one, and rightfully so. This match was just mental. Tumb tacks, steel chairs, you name it, Foley and Edge beat the hell out of each other. This match also possibly had the greatest ending to a Wrestlemania match in years. Foley got a spear through a table from the apron. Oh and that table happened to be on fire. Edge wins this one and keeps his Wrestlemania winning streak. Amazing match.

Booker T&Sharmell vs. The Boogeyman- No match could have followed the Foley-Edge match so I guess it made sense to put this already hopeless match right after it. Very little wrestling in this one, mainly funny moments and Sharmell screaming. Boogeyman wins. Not a bad match overall, just really pointless.

Women's Championship - Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James - Finally! A good women's match at Wrestlemania. This was a great match, and was actually long unlike so many women's matches theses days. Loads of action in this one. Again though, the Chicago booed the supposed fan favourite and chanted for Mickie instead. Now if this wasn't a sign that poor John Cena was going to get booed so bad, I didn't know what was. Great match, Mickie James wins and becomes the new women's champion!

Casket MatchMatch - Undertaker vs. Mark Henry - Alright match, Taker against Mark Henry was never going to be a classic. A few good highlights. Like Undertaker's amazing leap over the top ropes onto Henry on the outside - he hasn't done that in a while. The crowd went nuts when Taker Tombstoned the world's strongest man. Taker wins and buries Henry.

No Holds Barred - Shawn Michaels vs. Vince Mcmahon - Wow. This was really great. Michaels and Vince took it to each other. Shane Mcmahon tried to interfere but ended up getting handcuffed to the ropes on the outside by Michaels. Then Michaels went nuts, and so did the crowd. He nearly killed poor Vince. Great ending - Michaels takes out an extra large ladder, sets Mcmahon down on a table in the middle of the ring and elbow drops him from the ladder through the table. The crowd went crazy. Micheals did a lot of old DX suck it taunts in this match, and the crowd went crazy. A DX reunion? Please say yes. Michaels wins.

Smackdown! Main Event - Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship - Super match. As soon as the bell rang, the action begun. Amazing ending, nobody thought Mysterio could actually do it. Mysterio gives Orton the 619 followed by a Hurricanrana and wins! Mysterio is the new World Heavyweight Champion. Angle couldn't believe it, and either could the crowd.

WWE Championship - John Cena vs. Triple H - This was it, the main event. And Cena got booed, booed badly. It sounded like every single person in attendance was booing Cena. The commentators accepted it, Cena was no longer the fan favourite. Triple H was getting cheered. Triple H amazingly gave the fans a DX suck it taunt, just like Michaels had done. The crowd went nuts again. This was a great main event but it was the Chicago crowd that made this one. Cena was hated on the night. Loads of action and loads of near pins(including Triple H kicking out of the F-U) until Triple H gave up and tapped out to Cena's submission move. The crowd could not believe it. Their reaction was truly priceless. There is no way Cena can be a good guy anymore, no way. Definitely a controversial ending to a super Wrestlemania.

Altogether, Wrestlemania 22 was spectacular. 10/10 without a doubt. Definitely the best Wrestelmania in years. So many amazing matches, and definitely so much more hardcore and attitude in A Wrestlemania that we haven't's seen in years.

This was one of the best wrestle-manias ever the whole show was excellent with the exception of a couple of matches.

1)Kane,Show Vs Carlito,Masters:Good solid opener lots of back and forth action 6.5/10.

2)Mitb Rvd vs lushly vs Ric Flair vs Matt Hardy vs Shelton Benjiman vs Finlay:Great money in the bank ladder match lots of stunts the highlight was Shelton doing a sen ton onto everyone 8/10.

3)US Title Chris Benoit Vs Jbl:good solid match with Jbl Pulling the win out with a good reversal spot 7/10.

4)Hardcore Match Edge VS Mick Foley:awesome defines this match.Edge makes Mick have arguably the best match of his career. 9.5/10.

5)Boogeyman vs Booker T:press skip on the DVD remote 1/10.

6)Trish Vs Mickie: Great women's match up the crowd just ate this up 8/10.

7)Undertaker Vs Mark Henry: Real average match up but every match is with Mark Henry.5/10.

8)HBK VS Vince No holds barred: I wasn't really looking forward to this and thought it was a complete waste of Shawn but i was pleasantly surprised when Shawn showed why he is the best wrestler ever, making Vince look really good and the second best match on the card awesome ladder spot in the end with a table. 9/10.

9)whc Kurt vs Rey vs Randy:Awesome triple threat match but may have went a little two short and the climax was a little Prue mature but overall a really good match 7.5/10.

10)Torrie vs Candice pillow fight:good eye candy didn't go to long and was good to have a light match in between the two world title match's 6/10.

11)Wwe Title Triple H Vs Cena: Pretty good match the crowd was red hot for this one with a great finish and good story telling.Triple H did a great job carrying Cena 8/10.

Overall I rate wrestle-mania 22:9/10

i ordered wrestlemania and it was great on my standards. The whole show was really good except for the pillow fight and the bogeyman match.

onto the matches. the tag match between Kane and show vs carlito and masters was pretty good. like the finish and hate what happened after words when Kane and show lost the titles.

money in the bank match. it was a real good match but in my opinion it was to short they should have got rid of the pillow fight and the bogeyman man match to add 10 extra minutes to it. rvd wins against Finlay,Matt hardy , lashly ,ric flair , Shelton Benjamin.

hardcore match between edge and Mick Foley was a good well fought match with some classic hardcore moments. including Mr socko with barb wire around it. edge comes out the winner after a spear thru the table.

womens title match. Mickie James vs Trish stratus. at last a good wresltemania match including women. pretty OK Mickie wins with the chick kick.or Mick kick in other words.

U.s title match. jbl vs Chris Benoit. A pretty good match nice wrestling on Benoit's part. jbl cheats to win he title.

Casket match. henry vs taker. sort of a predictable match where you knew taker would win because why would you destroy a perfect record on wrestlemania with henry. taker whens by putting them into casket.

pillow fight and Bogey man match's. both crappy no need to explain.

heavyweight title match. mysterio vs Orton vs angle. a good main event could have been longer then 9 minutes in my mind. mysterio wins with a 619.

wwe title. cena vs triple h. nice shocking match i seriously though that triple h was going to win. ends up cena wins by making triple h tap out to the a step over toe lock.

all in all a good ppv. only the 3rd wrestlemania iv seen but still enjoyable so i give it a good 8 out of ten only because I'm comparing it to wrestlemania 17.

A good show. I've only got 1000 words, so let's get on with it.

Kane & Big Show vs Carlito & The Master Piece - Decent enough opener, served it's purpose as the opening match. The events after the match planted the seeds for a Carlito/Masters feud. 6/10

Monney In The Bank Ladder Match - Stole the show! I think it's safe to say that Shelton Benjamin saved his career and started a whole new chapter in his professional wrestling life. He just might win the big one some day. After being misused for so long, RVD finally gets treated properly by the WWE bookers. 8.5/10

Mene Gene Okerland/Randy Orton/Batista segment - I still believe that the first time that you should see a superstar on a PPV is when their entrance music hits. Basically this segment planted the seeds for a Randy Orton/Batista feud.

Hall Of Fame Segment - Now that Eddie Guerrero takes his rightful place in wrestling history. Hopefully the WWE can stop milking his death and let him rest in peace. By the way, is there any danger of the WWE putting Owen Hart in the Hall Of Fame (he was one of the best in ring performers to grace a WWE ring)?

Chris Benoit vs JBL - Nobody expected this to be a classic. It wasn't anything special, but it was watchable (because Chris Benoit works so hard). An unexpected finish though. 5.5/10

Edge vs Mic Foley - Mic Foley can die a happy man, knowing that he finally has his defining Wrestle Mania moment. Edge didn't let Mic Foley take all of the bumps either, he wrestled his most impressive one on one match up to date. Well done to both men. 8/10

The freak segment - Very funny!

Booker T vs The Boogeyman - Either release Booker T or put him in a match that he deserves to be in. The Boogeyman effectively ended his WWE career & did his best to take Booker T with him. 3/10

Trish Stratus vs Mickie James - Surprisingly good women's wrestling and a hyped crowd, made this match a classic women's match up. It could have stolen the show if Mickie James didn't do a Brock Lesnar (botch the biggest move of the match). It was actually Trish's fault. She didn't supply Mickie James with enough support to elevate onto the top rope. 6.5/10

The Undertaker vs Mark Henry - This was Mark Henry's chance to earn a contract extension. He blew it! The Undertaker saved this match in the last 5 min. Well done Undertaker for realising that it was Wrestle Mania and raising his game. 6/10

HBK vs Vince McMahon - The feud started slow, but ended well. HBK nearly stole the stole for the 4th straight Wrestle Mania. We all loved the DX crotch chop. Vince McMahon's really letting himself go physically, by the way. Good match! 7.5/10

World Heavyweight Championship - HHH nearly ruined Wrestle Mania by pulling rank and having the 'REAL' main event moved to the 3rd to last match on the card. Kurt Angle was superb. Randy Orton did his job, but seemed like he was there to make sure that people bought the PPV, e.g. HBK at Wrestle Mania XX. Rey Misterio deserves some genuine success, not just the novelty success that the WWE usually gives him. Good match, but too short. 8/10

Lingerie Pillow Fight - Next! 2/10 (you get 2 just for getting into the ring)

WWE Championship - Sometimes the crowd makes a match when the wrestling is just ordinary, e.g. Hogan/Andre The Giant WM III, Hogan/Warrior WM VI, Hogan/Rock WM XVIII (basically every Hogan match). Wrestle Mania 22, definitely Cena's defining moment in his career so far. It's evident that Vince is standing his ground and won't stop promoting Cena until we just cheer for him. Triple H must have cheated on Stephanie or something like that. That's the only reason I can think of for Vince making HHH tap out to Cena at Wrestle Mania. 7.5/10

Overall a very good Wrestle Mania. Probably in the top 5 of all time.

The last time I watched a WWE event was nearly two years ago. That event was Judgement Day 2004. I lost my patience with wrestling after that, and I never thought I could have got back into it. However, I told myself to give this Wrestlemania a chance. I tell you what, I'm glad I did, as this was one of the great Mania's. Its definitely up there with 14, X-Seven and XIX. Anyway, lets get on with the matches from this memorable night in Chicago when wrestling went BIGTIME:

Match 1:World Tag Team Championship Match: Kane and The Big Show vs. Carlito and Chris Masters. Not being a big fan of tag team matches, I wasn't expecting much from this one. However I was proved wrong. This was a great opener, with brilliant performances from all four men. Kane and Show won to retain the titles. Winners and still champions: Kane and Show

Match 2:Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Ric Flair vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Matt Hardy vs. Finlay vs. Lashley. WOW. This match was absolutely amazing. It kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. I've never seen a ladder used like Benjamin and RVD use it. Some insane moves in this match, culminating in RVD grabbing the case, and becoming the new Mr Money in the Bank. One question, why was the match so low on the card????? Winner: Rob Van Dam

Match 3:United States Championship Match: Chris Benoit vs. JBL. This was a very dogged match. Nothing pretty, but still very entertaining. Quite low for JBL to taunt the late great Eddie Guerrero as he did. He got a cheap victory by rolling Benoit up and holding on to the ropes. Winner and new champion: JBL

Match 4:Hardcore Match: Mick Foley vs. Edge. I thought nothing could beat the MITB match. Oh how wrong I was. This match was absolutely unreal. There was blood galore in this one, as an all manner of weapons were used, including barbed wire, barbed wire bats, thumb tacks, just to name a few. Even Mr Socko got a barbed wire makeover. Both men bled heavily. The match had the best ending, possibly any match has ever had. Mick got speared by Edge on the apron through a table that was on fire!!! Edge picked up the win in a instant Wrestlemania classic. Winner: Edge

Match 5:Handicap Match: Boogeyman vs. Booker T and Sharmell. Well I suppose nothing could follow that last match up, so we had this. This match wasn't bad by any means, but it was on par as the worst match of the night compared with everything else.Boogeyman picked up the win by pinning the Book. Winner: Boogeyman

Match 6:Women's Championship Match: Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James. Well now I've seen everything. A good tag team match at the start of the show, and now a good women's match. This was a brill match, mainly because of the Chicago crowd, who cheered Mickie instead of usual fan favourite Trish. She even got booed. Mickie won to become new champion. Winner and new champion: Mickie James

Match 7:Casket Match: Undertaker vs. Mark Henry. Another good match. The Undertaker can still put up a good match, even against the very large Mark Henry. At one point I thought Henry would steal it, but The Undertaker pulled off another Wrestlemaina win to make his record 14-0 by burying Henry. Winner: Undertaker

Match 8:No Holds Barred Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Mr McMahon. Another amazing match. This match was very violent, much like the Edge-Foley match before it. Glad to see HBK kick old Vince's arse. The chairman was left a bloody mess after Michaels was through with him. Shane tried to intervene and got handcuffed to the middle rope by HBK. The highlight of this one was Michaels pulling out the biggest ladder I have ever seen, setting Vice up on a table, putting a trash can over the upper half of Vince's body, and hitting him with a huge elbow drop. HBK then finished it with a vile Sweet Chin Music. There were even some crotch chops DX style from HBK in this one, ultimately leading to the DX reunion later in the year. Winner: Shawn Michaels

Match 9:Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton. This match was something else. Back and forth throughout. I was cheering on Angle all the way. Still annoyed that he didn't win. Mysterio shocked the world when he pinned Orton for the win. Winner and new champion: Rey Mysterio

Match 10:Playboy Pillow Fight: Torrie Wilson vs. Candice Michelle. Worst match of the night along with the Boogeyman match. This was pretty bad, even though we had two gorgeous women rolling around in their underwear. Winner: Torrie Wilson

Match 11:WWE Title Match: John Cena vs. Triple H. A great main event, although it will probably be remembered for the very hostile crowd. Cena got the biggest boos I have possibly ever heard for a superstar who isn't playing heel. I personally hate Cena and wished he lost this match. Unfortunately, he didn't. He made the Game submit with his dumb submission move the STF-U. Winner and still champion: John Cena

Well, I'm glad I took a chance and saw this Wrestlemania, its up there with the best Mania's ever. Have I caught the wrestling bug after seeing this.....Hell Yeahh!!!!!!!!!

This has to be the greatest Wrestlemania since 17... I mean this was just outstanding it focused on more on wrestling and entertainment. This PPV proves that WWE isn't going downhill no more....in my opinion Raw is been better since the draft of 2002... the ratings have been strong and SD sometimes can suck ass but well here the matches.

1)Carlito/Chris Masters vs Kane/Big Show

World Tag Team Titles decent match up...good way to kick things off but a little short 7.5/10

2)Money in the Bank

better than last years and Shelton did another cool stunt...great performance by Finally and Lashely and Matt tried hard and Flair never gave up and RVD was just outstanding and won 10/10

3)Chris Benoit vs JBL

United States Title not a bad match...very decent close of being great but decent 7.0/10

4)Edge vs Mick Foley

Hardcore Match awesome match up Foley still has it and Edge damn cant believe the ending o well at least we know Foley still can fight. 10/10

5)Booker T vs Boogeyman

you call this Wrestlemania Teddy Long? 4/10

6)Mickie Jane vs Trish Stratus

Women's Championship

wow what a womens match.....best womens match i seen in years 8/10

7)Undertaker vs Mark Henry

Casket Match decent enough...I really hate Mark henry this could been a lot better if he wasn't Undertaker's opponent why he getting a push he cant fight he too slow. 6/10

8)Shawn Michaels vs Vince McMahan

No Hold's Barred

WOW, WOW, WOW what a match...entertaining and exciting sure Vince barely did anything but nice to see Shawn doing his thing we never seen in a long time....SUCK IT VInce thats what u get for messing wit the showstopper.10/10!!!

9)Kurt Angle vs Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton

World Heavyweight Championship

awesome match but too short and I hate that Rey is the champion now come on??? is this a joke?? 8.5/10

10)Torrie vs Candice Michelle

Langerine Pillow Fight

what? is? this? after a title match 4/10

11)HHH vs John Cena

WWE Title very shocking from the fans... I mean the fans were into this match like crazy..just like Hogan/Rock... but damn I know there some Cena haters out there but didn't have to chant F** YOU Cena he didn't do anything he works out hes very busy..I'm a Cena fan and I was pulling for Cena in this match.Cuz he my favorite no matter what but no respect to HHH I like HHH i really do but I'm in Cena's chain gang but anyways this was perfect way to end the show....the match and the crowd..great main event hope they fight again soon.10/10!!!

Overall:Tremendious PPV 10/10 I def recommend this for a collection and for a WWE fan cause this was just plain great!!!

The biggest night in the wrestling world, the grandest stage of them all and the showcase for the immortals. This WrestleMania was one of the best(in my opinion). It was BIGTIME.

Match 1 - Kane and Big Show Def Carlito and Chris Masters. The show was kicked off with the tag team champions retaining there titles. This was a fun match, a few moments where you actually thought masters and Carlito would win, but ultimately a bit of a let down, I would have liked to see it go on a bit longer. Match Rating - 5/10.

Match 2 - RVD Def Ric Flair, Shelton Benjamin, Finlay, Bobby Lashley and Matt Hardy in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. This is where things started to heat up, you put six crazy guys in a ring together with weapons and what do you get, answer in one word, CARNAGE. We saw some new and crazy stuff, especially from RVD and Shelton. Maybe not as good as the original, but pretty close. Match Rating - 7.5/10

Match 3 - JBL Def Chris Benoit for the US Title. This was a good match, with some nice back and forth action.Possible a slight let down because i was really looking forward to this match. Again i would have liked to see it go on for longer, seen as Benoit and JBL have some great chemistry between them and both of these blokes are great workers. Match Rating - 6/10

Match 4 - Edge Def Mich Foley, in a Hardcore Match. Now this is one of the most brutal matchs in WrestleMania history, if not, the most brutal. Edge and Foley really went at it, for his age Foley really pulled at the bad and I think surprised a lot of people, including me, and this should show all those critics who say Foleys just a mere imitation of his former self. With a little help from the HO, Lita, Edge pulled out a victory with an amazing Spear through a burning table, which now adds to his unbeaten streak. Match Rating - 8/10, good job Foley.

Match 5 - BoogeyMan Def Booker T and Sharmel. What was the point, please someone tell, what was the point. This was a waste of a SmackDown Match, we could have seen some cruiserweight action or MNM defend the Tag Titles. I'm trying to blank this one from my memory but its just too awful. Match Rating - 2/10, seriously, what was the point, ill have to ask Vince next time I see him.

Match 6 - Mickie James Def Trish Stratus for the Womens Title. Wow, what a match, this really was a showcase for the womens division. The crowd was electric for this match. I take my hat off to both the women (if i was wearing one). To all the guys who watched this match, when Mickie grabbed Trish's YOU KNOW WHAT and did the YOU KNOW WHAT sign, did anyone else suddenly find Mickie extremely Sexy. Match Rating - 8/10, well done lady's.

Match 7 - The UnderTaker Def Mark Henry, in a Casket Match. This match was really cool, two Power houses going at it. There were a few moments where I thought Henry might steal it, but Taker weren't having none of it. Scratch another name on the long list of UnderTakers Wrestlemania Victims. Match Rating - 7.5/10

Match 8 - Shawn Michaels Def Vince McMahon, in a no holds barred match. I was so glad Good Old JR was there to call this SlobberKnocker. Now I'm not Michaels biggest fan, but as I was watching this match i suddenly found myself out of my seat and cheering him on. This match was a blood fest, I'm so glad the Spirt Squad got what they deserved and Shawn then pulled out the biggest ladder I've ever seen in my life and dived straight off it. What a crazy sod. Match Rating - 8/10

Match 9 - Rey Mysterio Def Randy Orton and Kurt Angle, for the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE, in a triple threat match. In my eyes this was the true main event, there was some crazy stuff including a double German Suplex and a great mix of finishers and counters. All three men showed what there made of and what else could we expect for three of the best athletes in the wrestling industry. Really Great Match, well done Rey. Match Rating 9/10

Match 10 - Torrie Wilson Def Mickie James, in a Playboy Pillow Fight. Not sure why this match was booked here, but how cares. Two beautiful and sexy women ripping each others cloths off and rolling about, brilliant. Not a WrestleMania Classic but good fun to watch. Match Rating 3/10 for the wrestling side, 9/10 for hotness.

Match 11- The Main Event- John Cena Def Triple H, for the WWE Title. The King has been dethroned. Like a lot of people, i don't like Cena very much, but after that victory, my respect grew for him and now I don't completely hate him. Now I've said that, this was in my mind a match classic, both men gave it there all and the better man one. Match Rating - 9/10, easily Cenas Greatest match of his career.

Overall it was a really good show, I don't think ill ever forget the time the WWE went BIGTIME. The WWe needed this kind off show to say that they can still give the audience what they want to see. Overall Show Rating - 8/10.

Great Wrestlemania. According to me, these are the ratings:

1) Kane & Big Show vs Carlio & Chris Masters - 5/10 (An okay opening for Wrestlemania) 2) Ladder Match - 8/10 (Good match) 3) Hall of Fame Seg. - 9/10 (R.I.P. Eddie) 4) Benoit vs JBL - 5/10 (So-so match) 5) Edge vs Foley - 6.5/10 (Foley tried his best. That makes it good) 6) Booker vs Boogeyman - 1.5/10 (Sucked and WWE, you can do better than this kind of match.) 7) Trish vs Mickie - 7.5/10 (A very good women's championship match.) 8) Undertaker vs Henry - 10/10 (Taker shows everyone again, what he's made of. Greatest match of the night!!!) 9) HBK vs Vince - 9.5/10 (Awesome match. HBK ended it well.) 10) Angle vs Mysterio vs RKO - 9/10 (Great match. Rey turned out to be the champ. Great Job) 11) Cena vs HHH - 8.5/10 (Great match. Cena retains his championship)

This year Wrestlemania 22 was bought to us from Chicago. This WM delivered big time, but as usual this wasn't perfect.

Results from the show: The Boogeyman defeated Booker T and Sharmell in a p*ss poor match. Kane and Big Show retained the WWE tag team belts against Chris Masters and Carlito. RVD defeated Finlay, Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy, Bobby Lashley and Ric Flair in a superb Money in the Bank ladder match. Mickie James defeated Trish Stratus to win the Women's title in a good match. Shawn Michaels defeated Vince McMahon in a brilliant hardcore match. The Undertaker defeated Mark Henry in a passable casket match. Edge defeated Mick Foley in a brutal no rules match. Torrie Wilson defeated Candice in a rotten pillow fight. Kane & Big Show vs Carlito & The Master Piece - Solid opener, nothing special. Shame to see Kane is such match and guys like Cena in the main event. 6/10

Money In The Bank Ladder Match - As expected it was amazing. Great match with some memorable moments. 9/10

Hall Of Fame - Eddie, we miss you!

Chris Benoit vs JBL - Benoit deserves more than. It wasn't bad, it was rather solid but forgettable. 5.5/10

Edge vs Mick Foley - Foley never stop to amaze and this is no exception. Edge is the future of the WWE (a deserving main eventer compared to the likes of Cena). Brutal encounter with a great finish. + Lita is hot. 8.5/10

Booker T vs The Boogeyman - Boogeyman can't wrestle. Nowadays WWE tend to go for guys with some popular character or commercial attributes instead of real athletes ...that's why WWE has jumped the shark for me...Booker T deserves more. Had its funny moments tho. 2/10 (for the fun)

Trish Stratus vs Mickie James -Good match and Trish was hot as always. Mickie is weird, meaning the girl is doing a good job. 6/10

The Undertaker vs Mark Henry - Not the best Undertaker WM match. Not bad but not great. Taker did his job while Mark Henry was pretty average. Being big and Strong don't necessarily mean you are a good wrestler..WWE has forgot that. Good match by Taker. 6.5/10

HBK vs Vince McMahon - Vince and Shane Mcmahon has always impressed me in matches...this is not exception. Great match with some unforgettable moments. Exactly what i was expecting. 8.5/10

World Heavyweight Championship - Kurt Angle(c) vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton This not being the main event is literally a screw job! WWE has lost the sense of Main events! 3 great athletes with Angle at his best. It was great to see Angle getting cheered and Rey booed! Finally fans cheering for real athlete, the deserving one. However the match was too short...still great tho. 8/10

Lingerie Pillow Fight - They are all hot. Unrated.

WWE Championship -SHAME!! Complete sell out. The worst thing is that WWE can't stop screwing fans like that and continued to get worst and worst afterward, the main reason I've quit watching. So we get an amazing triple threat before while this is the main event?? You gotta be kidding me. Everybody knew this would never match the triple threat. The ONLY good thing is that Cena was rightfully getting booed. These fans were amazing. The ending was ridiculous...HHH taping out? Give me a break. WWE wants to make an Hogan out of Cena. It got worst afterward..ruined the WWE. I can't believe this main event. We've got Bret hard vs. Michaels, Austin vs. Rock, Austin vs. Michaels, Benoit vs. Austin vs. Michaels and now we got this??????? Even HHH couldn't save it. That was terrible. 1.5/10 (1.5 for the fans booing Cena)

This years WrestleMania was held before a raucous crown of 17,159 at the All State Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The card was loaded from top to bottom. Five championship matches, a casket match, a no holds barred match, a hardcore match and the second Money in the Bank Ladder match all were making this years WrestleMania one of the most eagerly awaited in it's twenty two year history.

The main event of the night featured the battle between John Cena and Triple H for the WWE Championship. With the crowd at fever pitch for Cena to lose the Championship this was a heated battle. The most heated WWE Championship match since WrestleMania X-Seven I would say. The match itself was excellent and was a fine way to end a brilliant event. John Cena shocked the world when he made The Game tap out to the worst submission move in wrestling the STFU. Cena had retained the Championship and kept his undefeated WrestleMania streak in tact.

The other main event of the night was the triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Smackdowns! Premier superstars: reigning champion Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton were looking set to blow the roof off the All Sate Arena in what should have been match of the night. The action, whilst it lasted was excellent, however it did not last long. Rey Mysterio picked up the shock victory after pinning Randy Orton. I didn't see that one coming.

The undercard of WrestleMania22, much like WrestleMania 21 was great. Trouble was, also like last years event; it had a couple of worthless matches that we had to deal with. Those matches being The Boogeyman against Booker T and Sharmell and of course the Playboy Pillow Fight. Bother matches were an embarrassment and had no place on the card.

There were some cracking matches too. Mick Foley battled Edge in a thrilling Hardcore match. This was brutal and ended after Edge speared Foley through the ring ropes and onto a flaming table. This gave Foley his "Mania moment" and gave Edge his fifth undefeated match at WrestleMania. The Money in the Bank Ladder match was also gripping. Ric Flair was especially impressive with his bumps. In the end it was Rob Van Dam that grab the briefcase, grabbed the win and grabbed the chance of a WWE Championship match. The other barnburner of the night saw Shawn Michaels battle Mr McMahon in a No Holds Barred contest. This was fantastic. Great story telling from beginning to end. Michaels picked up the much-deserved victory but not until after he had dropped a big splash on McMahon from a twenty-foot ladder. Unbelievable.

Other notable happenings on the card were The Undertaker going 14-0 by defeating the worthless Mark Henry in a Casket match. Kane and The Big Show defeated Carlito and Chris Masters in the opening contest for the World Tag Team Championship. Mickie James won the WWE Woman's Championship from Trish Stratus in the best WWE woman's match in WrestleMania history by far. And finally John Bradshaw Layfield defeated Chris Benoit for the United States Championship with a little help from the middle rope.

WrestleMania 22 was a great card from start to finish. Everyone had his or her working heads on and everyone put in a great effort. Well worth watching just for the Championship matches and the Hardcore matches. Well done WWE and role on WrestleMania 23 from Detroit.

Ah Wrestlemania. The time of year that wrestling fans all over the world look forward to. The memories, the history, the matches, everything. This year's Wrestlemania, in my opinion wasn't necessarily great but was still entertaining and a good watch. First up was the below average Big Show/Kane vs. Carlito/Chris Masters. This match just doesn't have anything to it. Just a normal match you'd see anywhere else with a bad decision not letting Masters/Carlito win the belt that have lost so much meaning. Money in the Bank ladder match 2 is next up. Once again nothing less than spectacular. Not as good as last years but it was really cool to change it up from all high fliers usually to some other styles with the likes of Flair, Finlay, and Bobby Lashley. If you don't think Ric Flair is the man then watch this. Seeing someone his age taking the bumps he took further shows that he is one of the best. Shelton once again steals the highlights in this match topping his run up the ladder last year and the flipping plancha to the outside. How you may ask? Well he combined both by running up the ladder AND doing the plancha. He also does an insane springboard onto the ladder set up. Awesome ladder match, I still like last year's the best. Following this was a disappointing JBL vs Chris Benoit for the US Title. This match actually had pretty good expectations. But the short amount of time really hurt this from being a good bout. This was average. The Mick Foley vs Edge hardcore match is probably the show stealer, but that's arguable. I can't say much about this match because I don't wanna ruin the awesome finish. Up next is Booker T vs Boogeyman. Horrible don't even bother. Next was Mickie James vs Trish for the Women's title. Yes we all seen how these turn out but Mickie and Trish can really make a go at it. I mean 2 months earlier at New Year's Revolution they probably had match of the night in my eyes. This was actually very good but finish was blown, looked like Trish hurt her knee at some point. Then came the casket match with Undertaker vs Mark Henry. Another average match but poor Taker he tried so hard to bring the best out of Henry and you can see Henry tried also. He's just no good and really brings it down. Taker does do a good job of making Henry look tough though and Taker does an awesome plancha to the outside. Now the street fight between Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon. Aweseome literally, it was just Michaels beating McMahon into oblivion but It was down in a way that it was a squash with Spirit Squad and Shane coming out. Awesome points of the match: Michaels elbow drop off the top of the giant ladder onto McMahon who's inside a trash can on a table. Words cannot describe. Oh yes and the DX crotch chop was back. Now we have the triple threat match for the World Heavyweight title between Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, and Rey Mysterio. This match was slightly, slightly above average just because of Rey's win. This was short and not all that exciting. Shame really for what these 3 can actually do. Following this was a bathroom break of Playboy pillow fight between Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson. NEXT! John Cena vs. Triple H. Wow this was really good. John Cena really showed that he can actually go at it and Triple H helped him achieve that. The crowd was electric and made the match very interesting. They worked beautifully with the split crowd and by the end of the match Cena changes a lot of the boos into cheers and Triple H does the job. Overall good show, I would recommend this to anyone.

Wrestlemania 22 was very good this year and I was pleased to see John Cena retain his WWE Championship. When Rey Mysterio won the World Heavyweight Championship I was very happy and I felt he did it for Eddie Guerrero(may he R.I.P.). I wasn't too happy to see JBL win the United States Championship because I felt it belonged to Chris Benoit. To me, JBL has no skill and didn't deserve to win at all. The hardcore match was entertaining, and even though he did not win, Mick Foley put up a heck of a fight. Rob Van Dam did a great job winning the Money In The Bank Ladder Match and it is great knowing he is now Mr.Money in the Bank. Mickie James beat Trish Stratus, which surprised me a lot, and I think she is the most psycho Women's Champion the WWE has ever had. Overall, Wrestlemania 22 was amazing and I can't wait for Wrestlemania 23.

the most important thing in wrestling is a crowd crowds use to follow the action and cheer when they should since hogan vs the rock there have been changes the crowd now know they can make the night and chigago did cheering for who they liked when they liked and it will change wrestling carlito was cheered in the 1st match and it started a trend which continued right to the main events apart from boogeyman match and the playboy pillow fight the action was awesome as was the crowd. I was worried at first because the big names where not involved but everyone raised there games including the best womans storeyline ever because of James charasima and a couple of cheeky dx references excellent event

A very enjoyable Wrestlemania, a lot better then last year. Great matches, a crowd that was loud, bizarre and relentless. Here's a recap

1. Chris Masters & Carlito Vs. Big Show & Kane - Tag Titles 7/10, A solid opener with Kane and Big Show coming off really effective as the dominant force, Carlito was way over with the crowd in this one. WINNER - BIG SHOW AND KANE

2. Money In The Bank Ladder Match 9/10 I can't stress how much I enjoyed this match, it was far better then last year's, Benjamin and R.V.D were awesome, Benjamin performs a leap from the top rope onto the ladder, absolute awesome. Lashley was pretty poor, Hardy, Flair and Finlay held their own. R.V.D was way over. WINNER - RVD

3. Chris Benoit Vs. J.B.L - US Title 5/10 As expected an average match, I like JBL's promos but he's not the most entertaining wrestler to watch. A bit of a surprising and anti climatic ending. WINNER - JBL

4. Edge Vs. Mick Foley - Hardcore Match 7.5/10 Super match, great spots, the ending was awesome, you must see it. Hats off to the risk taking from Edge and Foley. WINNER - EDGE

A super segment involving Snitsky, Mae Young, Goldust, Booker T, Sharmell, Million Dollar Man and Eugene.

5. Booker T & Sharmell Vs. Boogeyman 3.5/10 As I didn't expect much from this match I wasn't too disappointed but it's fair to say Boogeyman cannot wrestle a dot bit. The match is rather predictable to be honest. Boring chants break out during the match. WINNER - BOOGEYMAN

6. Trish Stratus Vs. Mickie James - Women's Title 6.5/10 A strong women's encounter but what was most exciting was the crowd, Mickie was so over with the crowd, everything she did was cheered and Trish was predominantly booed out the building. It was going so well and I was growing on Mickie but then she proved what I've been saying for months, she's sloppy. She botches a stratus faction which the crowd let her know about. WINNER - MICKIE

7. Undertaker Vs. Mark Henry - Casket Match 4/10 Now I am no huge Undertaker fan but this guy deserves so much better then Mark Henry, Undertaker tried as hard as he could but Henry is just so lame that there is nothing Taker can do to make this match interesting, it's slow, boring and so predictable even for the most retarded mark. WINNER - UNDERTAKER

Another great segment this time with the McMahon's, Vince says a prayer and has a few words with God - funny stuff.

8. Shawn Michaels Vs. Vince McMahon - No Holds Barred 7/10 A plain and simple McMahon beat down from HBK, it is so much fun to watch and probably edges the Hogan/Vince match of WM19. HBK performs a stunning elbow drop from the top of a ladder. WINNER - HBK

9. Rey Mysterio Vs. Kurt Angle Vs. Randy Orton - World Heavyweight Title 8/10 I wanted and thought I would be giving this match 10/10 but due to the fact it was so short I just couldn't do it, none the less it was very good, Kurt Angle carried this match like never before, he was at his best. As for Rey, well I felt sorry for him, it was his crowning moment and the crowd pooed all over it, they booed him every time he went to hit Angle, a shame really but hey it's Kurt Angle you beat him up you annoy a heck load of people. WINNER - REY MYSTERIO

10. Torrie Vs. Candice - Pillow fight 2/10 Oh dear, okay these two are so sexy but they are so lame in the ring it becomes a crime to watch, as expected from the rampaging crowd, they proceed in crapping all over this match. An awful match but it wasn't pointless as they needed a toilet break match in somewhere. They also needed a match to put in between the World title matches in order to kill the crowd, which they did and did so in flying colours. WINNER - TORRIE

11. John Cena Vs. Triple H - WWE Championship 9/10 Remember Rock/Hogan WM18 how the crowd ate up and made that match, well exactly the same here. This match was the main event and judging by crowd reaction to it, it's good it was. It wasn't a technical wrestling showcase but a heart pounding, near falls, emotionally charged match up. They both have weird entrances by the way. At first the crowd really get on Cena's back and are well into the Game, I thought both men played to the crowd spectacularly, I thought a few of the chants towards Cena were unacceptable and went beyond what it should go, after all this is just entertainment. As the match went on the crowd got louder and louder and they seemed to swerve a bit towards Cena that made for the old 50/50 chanting banter, a "Let's go Cena" "Cena sucks" chant breaks out, really good stuff and a few more false endings before the match comes to a dramatic and surprising ending. WINNER - JOHN CENA

All in all a very good Wrestlemania, anyone who says otherwise is just sum stuck up smark who can't get their head out their rare end. The crowd were brutal and loud, thumbs up to Wrestlemania 22. Some strong matches but a few diobolical ones.

The results of WrestleMania 22 both shocked and pleased everyone who watched it! The matches -

Tag Team Championship Match - Big Show and Kane vs. Carlito and Chris Masters... This match was a great match. During the match, Kane got booed for and the Carlito fans definitely showed their support through their cheers but in the end after an exciting match, the winners became apparent as Carlito fell to the Chokeslam winning Big Show and Kane the match.

Money in the Bank Match - RVD vs. Matt Hardy vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Finlay vs. Ric Flair vs. Shelton Benjamin... This was an extremely heated match and there was much excitement! In this match we saw Ric Flair be taken off in a stretcher with a leg injury from a ladder, but being the true player he is, he came back out again ready to fight for the contract! Unfortunately for him, in the final moments of the match, Matt Hardy and Benjamin were both on the same ladder trying to get the briefcase when Van Dam came along, planted another ladder next to theirs, pushed them both over (including the ladder) and grabbed the case! An excellent win for RVD!

United States Champoinship - Chris Benoit vs. JBL... The former champion, Chris Benoit fought hard in this match, throwing German Suplexes, The Three Amigos and a diving headbutt into the mix at various times. And when he locked the Crippler Crossface in victory seemed only a tap away, but JBL fought back and using the ropes without the ref seeing, he won through false pinfall.

Hardcore Match - Mick Foley (Cactus Jack vs. Edge)... This match was an amazing match! Thimb tacks, steel chairs and even burning tables were all present in the hell raising match. Sfter awakening the Cactus Jack hiding in Mick Foley, Edge was scared but through all the hell and barbed wire, Edge came out the victor.

Handicap Match - Booker T and Sharmell vs. The Boogeyman... This match was a complete no brainer! After faking an injury previously, Booker T was trying so hard to not be defeated. Unfortunately fear took over him and his wife, as The Boogeyman open mouth kissed Sharmell (worms and all). So obviously The Boogeyman won! Not much wrestling, just comedy I suppose!

Womens Championship - Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James... Now this was a match in which we all thought Trish would return to the locker room Womens Champion, but were we wrong?! Mickie spent the whole match releasing all this anger she now has toward her former idol Trish Stratus. After a main match, Mickie performed the Mick Kick which put Trish out. This gave her enough time to pin her and break her 15 month reign over the belt!

Casket Match - Undertaker vs. Mark Henry... This was a very exciting match! After both men had been in the casket, and a close shave for Henry, Undertaker managed to roll the huge Mark Henry into the casket and shut the lid, securing him a victory and carrying on his no loss streak in WrestleMania!

No Holds Barred - HBK Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. McMahon... This was a greatly anticipated match! HBK had God on his side during this match. After completely beating Vince to a pulp, chaining his son Shane to the ropes and giving the fans a DX suck it taunt, he exited the ring the winner of the match! But not before Mr. McMahon was carried off in a stretcher!

Smackdown! Main Event - Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship - Rey Mysterio vs. Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton... Nobody thought Rey could pull this one off! After all, it was originally meant to be Reys title match anyway, and then it got taken off him by cheating Randy Orton, he deserved to win! I don't think Orton knew what hit him and neither did Kurt!

Playboy Pillow Fight - Torrie Wilson vs. Candice Michelle... This was a long time coming! It was perfect revenge and the perfect setting for Torrie to get Candice after all she's done to her! She got the win with a rollup and won the match!

WWE Championship - John Cena vs. HHH... This was one of the most exciting matches of the whole night! Now many people say Cena is turning heel, but I don't think so! I think that hes 10x the man HHH is, but everyone has their own opinion of The Champ. There was mainly booing for Cena and cheering for HHH that night, but that didn't stop Cena from trying his very hardest, as usual!! HHH soon submitted to the deadly STFU from Cena, and Cena walked away triumphant until his next challenger dared to stand up...

This had to be one of the most god awful wrestlemanias ever and is only saved by 2 matches. The hardcore match between Edge and Mick Foley, also Vince Mcmahon against Shaun Michaels. The main event between Cena and Triple H was a complete washout and to be honest I nearly fell asleep it was so actionless, the casket match was not worthy of having the Undertaker appear in it and the match between the Boogie Man and Booker T was a complete joke. If you are really a big fan of the WWE and have missed the early days of the WWF and the Wrestlemanias 17 and 19 you'll probably love this. But I found that this Wrestlemania left a lot to be desired.

This was another solid WrestleMania. There is some quality stuff on here for sure, and quite an electric crowd.

Tag Team Championship Match: The Big Show and Kane (c) vs. Carlito and Chris Masters - A decidedly average opener. Nothing too bad, but nothing notable, either. Show and Kane retain the titles after Kane Chokeslammed Carlito. RATING: **1/2

Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Finlay vs. Matt Hardy vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Ric Flair - Not as good as the first MITB match, but still a lot of fun. There are plenty of crazy spots throughout, and all 6 men had some stand-out moments. Rob Van Dam wins the briefcase. RATING: ***3/4

United States Championship Match: Chris Benoit vs. JBL - It was alright, but it was too slow for my liking. I've seen better from Benoit, but this isn't too bad by JBL's standards. JBL wins the Championship by grabbing the rope. RATING: **3/4

Hardcore Match: Edge vs. Mick Foley - "Hardcore" indeed. This was one crazy, brutal match. These two simply tore each other apart. Edge showed that he belonged in this type of environment. Edge wins by unforgettably spearing Foley through the flaming table. RATING: ****

Booker T vs. The Boogeyman - Garbage. Pure Garbage. All I can say. RATING: DUD

Casket Match: The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry - This match wasn't bad, but it wasn't good, either. This was a typical big man match. Nobody really believed that Mark Henry could end the streak. The Undertaker remains undefeated. RATING: **1/4

No Holds Barred Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon - Nothing special wrestling-wise, but great as pure entertainment. It's so much fun to see Mr. McMahon get what he deserves. Shawn Michaels finishes him off with a Superkick. RATING: ***1/2

Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Kurt Angle (c) vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton - This was a great triple threat match. The action was fast from bell to bell and Rey's title win was memorable. The problem is that it is too short. Rey Mysterio wins the title with a Hurricanerana. RATING: ***3/4

WWE Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs. Triple H - A great main event with an epic feel to it. It may be remembered for the crowd booing the heck out of Cena, but these two managed to put on an exciting wrestling contest. John Cena retains with the STF. RATING: ****

Boogeyman vs. Booker aside, this was a fun show from top to bottom, and well worth checking out.

RATING: B

Now this was definitely a good Wrestlemania, even better than last year's. But the best Wrestlemania's in my opinion is X7 & XX.

FIRST MATCH- BIG SHOW & KANE VS. CARLITO & CHRIS MASTERS FOR THE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Great opener. Carlito & Masters worked really well to try topple down Kane & Big Show but to no avail. Carlito goes off the top rope & goes to nail Kane, but accidentally hits his own partner. Which leads to Big Show tossing out Carlito, then both Kane & Big Show nail a double-Chokeslam on Masters for the win to keep their World Tag titles. 5/10 SECOND MATCH- ROB VAN DAM VS. MATT HARDY VS. RIC FLAIR VS. BOBBY LASHLEY VS. SHELTON BENJAMIN VS. FINLAY IN A MONEY IN THE BANK INTERPROMOTIONAL LADDER MATCH Very great match. A lot of high risk moves & double teams in this match. Both Benjamin & Hardy are on the top ladder fighting it out, when RVD comes pushes them both down & grabs the MITB briefcase to become the new Mr. Money In The Bank. 7/10 THIRD MATCH- CHRIS BENOIT VS. JBL W/ JILLIAN HALL FOR THE WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP This was also a good technical match. Benoit & JBL put on a good fight in a battle for the United States Championship. Benoit locks in the Crossface on JBL. Suddenly JBL reverses the Crossface & gets a roll-up on Benoit using the ropes for the win to become the new United States Champion. 5/10 FOURTH MATCH- EDGE W/ LITA VS. MICK FOLEY IN A HARDCORE MATCH I like Hardcore matches, & if you watch this match you'll see why. Both men busted pretty badly open as they tried to hurt each other very badly. Edge spears Mick Foley through the apron & to the table outside {Which was lit on fire}. Edge makes the cover & gets a 3 count to get the victory over Mick Foley in this brutal Hardcore match. 5/10 FIFTH MATCH- BOOKER T & SHARMELL VS. BOOGEYMAN IN A 1-2 HANDICAP MATCH Just a plain squash. Don't know why they had to put it on the Wrestlemania match card. While Sharmell runs backstage {After Boogeyman put worms on her}, Booker T misses a slam on Boogeyman in the corner which leads to Boogeyman nailing his Special called The Boogeyslam for the win here against Booker T at Westlemania. 2/10 SIXTH MATCH- TRISH STRATUS VS. MICKIE JAMES FOR THE WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP This match was better than their encounter at New Year's Revolution. Great athletic moves by both Divas {Even though I think most Diva matches are boring}. Mickie James wins after nailing a modified Stratusfaction on Tish for the win to become the new WWE Women's Champion. 4/10 SEVENTH MATCH- UNDERTAKER VS. MARK HENRY IN A CASKET MATCH I'm not really a fan of Casket matches, this one was just a solid match nothing really special. The only highlight of the match is when Undertaker leaped over the ropes & nailed a nice Dive to knock Henry down. Undertaker in the ring nails a Tombstone on Henry, then puts him in the Casket for the win & to keep his Wrestlemania Streak alive. 4/10 EIGHT MATCH- SHAWN MICHAELS VS. VINCE MCMAHON W/ SHANE MCMAHON IN A NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH I liked this match. Because it showed Michaels beating up both Shane & Vince with everything he had. He even went far to tie Shane on the ropes with handcuffs, then threw the keys in the crowd & beat Shane with a cane. Even the Spirit Squad tried to interfere during the match, but Michaels took them all out. Michaels then put Vince on a table which a garbage bin under it. Got on a big ladder & jumped off the top nailing a elbow on Vince & crashing him through the table. Michaels finishes him off with Sweet Chin Music & covers for the 3 count to get the cool victory over Mr. McMahon at Wrestlemania. 5/10 NINTH MATCH- KURT ANGLE VS. RANDY ORTON VS. REY MYSTERIO IN A TRIPLE-THREAT MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP This was really a good triple-threat match. Only if it was more longer I would have given it a very good rating. Mysterio arm drags Angle out of the ring, & finishes Orton off with a 619 to get the historical win as Mysterio has won the World Heavyweight Championship here in a memorable moment at Wrestlemania. After the match, Mysterio celebrates his big win with Vickie & Chavo Guerrero as dreams do come true for Rey Mysterio. 6/10 TENTH MATCH- CANDICE MICHELLE VS. TORRIE Wilson IN A PLAYBOW LINGERIE PILLOW FIGHT Boring. Why is this match on the card. Torrie wins after a roll-up on Candice. 2/10 ELEVENTH MATCH- JOHN CENA VS. TRIPLE H FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP This is the big one. This match is going to be a classic & I was half-right. It was a bit slow at times but it picked up pretty good in the end. After the referee was knocked down, HHH tried to use a sledgehammer but Cena fought his way out & nailed a F-U, but to Cena's shock HHH broke out. Later Cena got the STFU on HHH & unbelievably made him tap out to get the win & retain his WWE Title. 5/10 This Wrestlemania was definitely better than last year's as it had more matches & more titles on the line.

Overall: I'll give it 9/10 & a A

Heres a list of the matches and what I thought Of Them, They're not in order.

1. World Tag Team Championships: Kane and Big Show Def. Carlito and Chris Masters to retain. This was a pretty decent solid match and a good argument leading up to a feud with Carlito and Chris Masters. 7/10 2. Money In The Bank Ladder Match: RVD Wins Money In The Bank. This was an excellent match with a lot of bumps and high flying. 9/10 3. United States Championship: JBL Def. Chris Benoit to become the new US Champ. This was an alright match with a cheap finish. 6/10 4. Hardcore Match: Edge Def. Mick Foley. This was the most brutal match of the night. A lot of bumps and shots and a flaming table. 10/10 5. Boogeyman def. Booker T/ Sharmell. This was pretty pointless indeed. No wrestling really, just messing around. 5/10 6. Womens Championship: Mickie James Def. Trish Stratus to become the new Womens Champion. Good Womens Competition. 8/10 7. Casket Match: Undertaker Def. Mark Henry. An alright match but nobody expected much. 7/10 8. No Holds Barred. Shawn Michaels Def. Mr McMahon. This was probably the most entertaining match of the night. LOADS of pumps, entertaining commentary(especially by Jim Ross), and the crowd got really fired up when HBK did the DX Crotch Chop on top of the ladder. 10/10 9. Smackdown! Main Event. Triple Threat For The World Heavyweight Championship. Rey Mysterio Def. Randy Orton and Kurt Angle to become the New World Heavyweight Champion! Rey Rey does the 619 and the Hurricanrana on RKO for the win. Good Match and a Great Tribute to Eddie. 9/10 10. WWE Championship. John Cena Def. Triple H to retain. This was a good solid match. The crowd was behind Triple H most of the time therefore they booed the hell out of Cena. Crowd gets fired up from a single DX Crotch Chop by Triple H. A good sledgehammer shot to Cena makes the building erupt. But in the end, Cena gives an FU that Triple H kicks out of to everyones surprise, then an STFU on Triple H, which he ends up tapping out to. 9/10 This was one of the best WrestleManias Ever without a doubt. 9/10

I thought Wrestlemania 22 was the greatest PPV ever in my opinion.

World Tag Team Championship:Kane/Big Show(c) def. Carlito/Masters when Kane pinned Carlito. This was a great Tag Team Championship match, Carlito even got cheered, Carlito & Masters had this won until a miscue happened leading to a Kane & Big Show win, a good match! Rating:10/10 Grade:A

MITBII:RVD def. Ric Flair, IC Champion Shelton Benjamen, Bobby Lashley, Finlay & Matt Hardy. This was a show stealer, a lot better than last year's, Rob Van Dam got the much deserved win, all 6 stars did well, my favorite part was when Shelton Benjamen leapfrogged onto the Ladder like Spiderman, maybe the Show Stealer! Rating:10/10 Grade:S

US Championship:JBL def. Chris Benoit(c) to win the title. This was a fairly good match, they both had a good one with JBL getting the win and the gold. Rating:10/10 Grade:A

Hardcore Match:Edge defeated Mick Foley. Both of these guys stole the show in this match, a definite Show-Stealer here, Edge got the much deserved victory and remained unbeaten, my favorite part was when Edge speared Foley through the burning Table, they out ECW'ed ECW, good job guys! Rating:10/10 Grade:S

Boogeyman def. Booker T(& Sharmell) when Boogeyman pinned Booker T. Booker T actually wrestled, but Boogeyman kissed Sharmell with the Worms in his mouth and made Sharmell run away which was the best part of the match, Boogeyman is cool & hilarious, Boogey won his 1st Wrestlemania, a good match. Rating:10/10 Grade:A

Women's Championship:Mickie James def. Trish Stratus(c) to win the title. Greatest Women's Championship ever in my opinion, a definite Showstealer, with my favorite Psychotic Diva getting the win to end Trish's 15-month run, one of those cases where the heel gets cheered and the face booed, Mickie is my favorite, but I love her the best and does her best work as a heel, good job Mickie! Rating:10/10 Grade:S

Casket Match:Undertaker def. Mark Henry to go to 14-0. Undertaker won to go to 14-0, but not without a fight, Undertaker had his toughest match ever, Mark Henry carried Undertaker in this, despite not winning, I gotta give Henry pops for a valiant effort! Rating:10/10 Grade:A+

No Holds Barred:Shawn Michaels def. Vince McMahon. This was a show stealer here, as much as I hate him, Vince McMahon did awesome in this match and carried Shawn Michaels, great job guys! Rating:10/10 Grade:S

World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match:Rey Mysterio defeated Kurt Angle(c) & Randy Orton to win the title when he pinned Randy Orton. A Show Stealer, The Greatest Main Event ever, all three gave their best efforts, but in the end, it was Rey Mysterio pinning Randy Orton get the much deserved victory and the title, and Kurt Angle was not even involved in the decision, good job all 3! Rating:10/10 Grade:S

Playboy Pillow Fight:Torrie Wilson def. Candice Michelle. This was a great match, but probably the weakest of all 11, Torrie Wilson acted like the Torrie Wilson of old & the Torrie Wilson that was on SMACKDOWN! when she pinned Candice to get the much deserved win and snapped her 11-Month losing streak and stay unbeaten at Wrestlemanias, good job Torrie! Rating:10/10 Grade:S

WWE Championship:John Cena def. Triple H. This was the other situation when the face was booed and the heel was cheered, this was by far John Cena's toughest win ever, and he was the big underdog, many times, Triple H had it won, and looked like should have won, Triple H not only carried this match, but he also Carried John Cena as well, Good Job Triple H, a show-stealer here! Rating:10/10 Grade:S

Overall, I thought this was the greatest Pay-Per-View ever!

Overall Rating:10/10 Overall Grade:S

I myself, from Chicago was at Wrestlemania 22.

I thought the Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight title was good. The Cena vs. Triple H match was good also. I also like the Money in the Bank match especially knowing that RVD won. The Mickie James vs. Trish match wasn't to bad, neither was the Vince vs. Shawn Michaels match. The Edge vs. Mick Foley match was good.

Some of the disappointing or bad matches was the Boogyman vs. Booker T match. The match was boring. The casket match between Undertaker and Mark Henry wasn't really that good. I did expect it to be good but it wasn't. The World tag- team match was OK, but could have been better. The Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle match was hot, but was boring as hell.
