News of the performance cancellation hits hard. Suk-hyun, now with nothing to keep him, accepts an offer to direct on Broadway; however, the kids consider staging the show anyway and catch the director heading out with bags packed to beg him to stay. As the cast pools personal finances with money generated from a fundraiser to pay for the show, Joon-hee, with infinite patience, entreats Hee-joo to rejoin them. As Hee-joo returns, Gyu-won, for the good of the show, bows out from the lead, but Hee-joo's mother finally informs Suk-hyun of Hee-joo's medical condition, which changes things right up to the hour of performance before a sold out crowd.
