Orphan Black Ruthless in Purpose, and Insidious in Method (2013–2017) Online

The clone club have made the decision that Helena and Gracie should now be the responsibility of the Hendrixes, which does not sit well with Donnie. Both Alison and Donnie believe they have to address the issue of Jason, and his romantic interest in Alison, although they take different approaches in dealing with the situation. Cosima continues to have problems in what seems like her love/hate relationship with Delphine, who she no longer trusts. Cosima and Sarah have not divulged to Delphine that Scott has been talking to Rachel about deciphering Duncan's code in the book. Rachel wants to make a deal with Sarah, which involves her, Felix and another sister who Sarah wants to remain outside the fold of knowledge about the clones, while various sides have differing opinions about what to do with and about Rachel. Castor may play a factor in the equation about Duncan's code, which may also affect "Denise's" well being.

Justin Chatwin (Jason Kellerman) played Grant/The Ghost in the 2016 Christmas episode of Daktaras Kas (2005) called Daktaras Kas: The Return of Doctor Mysterio (2016), starring Peter Capaldi. In the character Scott's apartment (Josh Vokey) a Doctor Who poster can be seen in the background, also featuring Capaldi.

The first time Rachel (Tatiana Maslany) starts translating she uses her left hand but when "Rachel" is at Mrs S's house and begins translating the book she uses her right hand, tipping us off that she isn't the real Rachel.

I wasn't a big fan of the first half of the season; it felt like nothing was happening compared to last season's constant pace. Now, they're reaping the benefits of it. There was so much going on in this episode that it is hard to keep track of.

Rachel agrees to decode the book on the condition that the clone club smuggles her out of the country, as Delphine eyes her up for the kill. So, Sarah and Felix are forced to steal the identity of Krystal Goderitch for Rachel. This lead to the most shocking part of the episode; Felix acting straight! The actor played that so wonderfully.

But, things get crazy when Rudy shows up at Scotty's house for the book. This was a really scary scene. Then, they initiate the plan. This activates a whole series of betrayals, twists, and turns that ramp up the intrigue. In the end, they get a clue where to find the Castor original, and head off to do so.

"Ruthless" is a great episode containing the customary twists and turns that we've come to expect and love from this series.

The opening scene introduces to the lovely Krystal Goderitch, the show's latest Orphan. She's a genuinely delightful character and it will be interesting to follow her arc.

Rachel continues to be an intriguing and threatening presence, even when wheelchair bound.

I'm genuinely excited to see where the series goes next.
