"Wishful Thinking" is an irreverent live-action episodic comedic series that tells the story of three feckless college roommates who are forced to house a fourth addition in their quad: a half-genie named Boubicor. The hybrid spawn of a powerful genie and his human servant, Boubicor is imbued with magical powers and can alter reality. Unfortunately, since he is only part genie, Boubicor can't accurately grant wishes that are directly asked of him. Like any foreign exchange student, Boubicor just wants to fit in and be accepted. To that end, he tries to use his powers to ingratiate himself with his roommates. Because Boubicor doesn't really know where or how to draw the line with his powers, he more often than not ends up embarrassing everyone involved. It's a bumpy magic carpet ride.
