Новые приключения Бэтмена The Demon Within (1997–1999) Online

Klarion the Witch Boy takes control of Etrigan the Demon and the Dynamic Duo must stop his destructive mischief.
Episode cast overview:
Kevin Conroy Kevin Conroy - Batman / Bruce Wayne (voice)
Mathew Valencia Mathew Valencia - Robin / Tim Drake (voice)
Billy Zane Billy Zane - Etrigan the Demon / Jason Blood (voice)
Stephen Wolfe Smith Stephen Wolfe Smith - Klarion the Witch Boy (voice)
Peter Renaday Peter Renaday - Auctioneer (voice)

The Demon smashes the window of the Kirby Cake House to steal some cake for Klarion. The name, "Kirby Cake House", is a reference to Jack Kirby, the man who created The Demon.

This was the last project Stephen Wolfe Smith starred in.

In the comics, Etrigan typically speaks in rhyme.

Devastator 3, the movie that Klarion saw and scoffed for being a sequel, seems to spin its title from the Terminator movie franchise. Also, the star-of-the-movie's name, Donald Shaltenpepper, is a clear spin on Arnold Schwarzenegger, star of the first three installments in the "Terminator" franchise.

Both Billy Zane (Etrigan) and Stephen Wolfe Smith (Klarion) were in the 1997 film, "Titanic".

Jason's quote "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy" comes from Shakespeare's Hamlet (Act I, scene v).

This is the only time Billy Zane voices Etrigan and Jason Blood. For the Justice League episode, "A Knight of Shadows" he is replaced by Michael T. Weiss.

I take a lot of issue with this sequel to Batman the animated series. It features more than a few bad episodes and lacks any outstanding ones. But this one is fairly decent as far as they go. I'm really only writing this in response to the idiot who gave it a 2. Here are some of your complaints - that it isn't grounded in reality like other episodes. Batman has always treaded the line between reality and sci-fi. We have mob bosses and we have super-powered characters like any other comic book incarnation. So what other grounded in reality episodes are you referring to? The one where Poison Ivy creates plant children? Where Catwoman is turned into a tiger hybrid? Man-Bat becoming a werebat? A half crocodile man? Zatanna and her magic? The Mad Hatter using circus animals to committ crimes? Ra's al Ghul's immortality? At least half of Batman's rogues gallery are far outside the basis of any possible reality. So you have a problem with the established relationship between Batman and Blood? Like they haven't done that with a million other characters? It's established that Bruce Wayne knows people and has many secrets? What's so far fetched about him and Blood having a past? You don't like the way Klation is portrayed? Ok, why? He's no more annoying than the Joker who essentially is just a big man child. Sure, Klarion has no real motive but that's kind of the purpose - he's a child who just wants to get his way. An evil child. Familiarize yourself with the comics and then come back. Etrigan is an established character of Gotham. I fail to see how the episode is forced. It establishes things quickly but it's easy to follow. How is it boring? It has more action and going-ons than other episodes. It certainly a great episode but it's decent as far as standalone episodes go. Certainly not a damn two.

Well, I doubt anything'll beat this on the "Worst Episodes" list. Only two episode so far have been bad in my opinion, and both of which suffered from not being grounded in reality. That's what I always loved about Batman, it felt like it could actually happen in a sense. Now obviously, not EVERYTHING in this show could've happened, but people rarely had super powers, there was no inter-dimensional travel, or anything like that. This episode is the exact opposite of that, and this wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, if there was at least some build up to it. Jason Blood, who's that, I don't know, apparently he's magic and also a demon and also very powerful and Bruce and him are friends and he knows Bruce is Batman and Bruce knows that Jason's a demon. Did that run-on sentence feel fast-paced? Because that's exactly how all of that felt, one thing after another after another. Introducing all of this at once as if we're supposed to know who this character is doesn't help the episode, it makes it feel forced.

Now let's talk about the villain in this. Oh, God this little brat. I think out of all the villains I've seen across both shows, this kid is the worst one. Not because his motives are dumb, not because he's a one-note character, but because he's so annoying. He's not developed, his voice is irritating, and he's just a brat.

When it's not annoying, it's boring, when it's not boring, it's forced, and when it's not boring or forced, it's annoying. It's literally a never-ending spiral of these three things for 30 minutes. Please tell me this brat doesn't have another episode.
