Mike and Jake at the Beach (1913) Online
Mike and Jake adore Louise. She, in turn, likes the gallant life saver on the beach and when Mike and Jake propose, she responds with the information that only a brave man can be her husband. They have a passage of arms with the life guard and he pulls their noses. They observe Louise and the guard sitting together on the beach. Meeting two crooks they arrange with them to seize the girl and convey her to a raft. This is done. Mike and Jake overpower the guard and tie him to a post. Then they proceed to the life-saving station and secure work as guards. They start out to rescue Louise. Unfortunately, the boat tips over and they experience difficulty in getting back to shore. They untie the other guard and he rows them out to the girl. See the picture to know the end.
