When Lorelai tries to get Rory to talk about her first kiss with Dean, she mentions the new Lucky on General Hospital as old Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) left the show to do a role where he gets a "real" name. In reality, two years after this episode aired, Alexis Bledel made her film acting debut opposite Jonathan Jackson in Tuck Everlasting (2002).
