I loved this show from its start. But starting with Season 4 the show went off the deep end, with undercover wives, female agents, and honor code killings. This episode capped everything off for me.

The first couple Seasons were solid and realistic then came the "7 families run the government" story line last season, and I stuck it out until this episode, but when they brought on the creepy short lady who's in all those horror movies I had to tap out. Of course the daughter is rescued, you think they would've killed her? At least I'll still have the first couple season's of quality entertainment. Maybe if it survives this season they'll retool the show, here's hoping.

Military buffs and those who prefer to not suspend disbelief are often attracted to shows such as this, however, this show should illustrate the obvious truth; military life is not that exciting. If you took every covert mission since day one of the actual formation of SFOD-D, there would likely not be enough material to have one season, much less 4 seasons. There were operations, sure, but none of it is as glamorous as they make it out to be, and the home life isn't nearly the same as the show.

Also, the show normally has just this Army team working missions, while in reality, there were other teams involved such as the SEALS. This show focuses on Mr Haney's book to a point, but it goes into a Marvel Comics feel on many occasions.

The first two seasons were well done, then they ran out of material. Sad, in a way, but not really. How much history do you want our anti-terrorist forces to have? It's a good series, and Dennis is very convincing in his role as is Mack. The other two are just fillers, in my opinion, and Bob Brown is just the pretty boy of the show. Most of these guys look too out of shape to be useful in the type of terrain they often find themselves in.
