Bruno is heading home in a stormy night, and is looking forward to join his family. However, he picks up a mysterious girl that is hitchhiking under the rain in the lonely road. And he suddenly feels attracted to her.

Although most of the film was shot in Seville (Spain), one of the takes was shot a few years before in Tucson (Arizona), in the middle of a stormy summer night.
The shooting took almost a couple of years, but the ride was worth it: "De Vuelta a Casa" ("Heading Home") became the first Spanish finalist in the Manhattan Short Festival in 2004.
