All of the "natural" effects in the film were scripted, but occurred naturally. The micro-budget did not allow the filmmakers to rent/use wind, fog or rain machines, so the shooting schedule was juggled so that scenes featuring those effects were scheduled for days when the weather forecast predicted they might happen.

The crows and ants in the film were not "wrangled". Owing to the film's micro-budget, the scenes featuring those animals had to be filmed in areas where the filmmakers knew they could be safely attracted, or where they could be found naturally.

This film won the 1st Runner Up (Feature Film) award at the 2005 Pocono Mountains Film Festival.

This film was selected as the only feature film shown during the 2005 Gulf Coast Film Festival in Nassau Bay (Houston), Texas. It is 89 minutes long while the next longest film at the festival was 43 minutes long.
