The Lonely Island: Jizz in My Pants (2008) Online

I've always been surprised to see that this precious clip gem didn't have a page here when a few others from The Lonely Island already had one, so I made one. Here's a clip that resulted in hilarious memes long after its release and continues to be one of the greatest hits of the net and a massive hit also for Samberg, Taccone and Schaffer power funny group. And rarity of rarities (since I don't care much for current music) but I watched way back in time and outside of YouTube and had a blast while watching it and never forgot its impact. Now it's one of my favorite videos of all time.

Hilarious all the way through, "Jizz in My Pants" deals with the singing/acting duo Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone experiencing some unpleasant (but amusing for us) moments while dealing with hot girls since they can't control the action and movements in their pants. Yes, that's right, the characters suffer from premature ejaculation which affects whenever those girls (one at a club; the other at a grocery clerk) whisper or talk something that isn't necessarily sexy but they go right with the business without further contacts or any sexual act. So far so good. BUT they move the action further to another priceless and unbelievable examples which goes from eating a grape, feeling a breeze roll in or during a spoiler moment from "The Sixth Sense"...they just jizz in their pants.

Their expressions, body language are top notch and hilarious to watch, never fails to make anyone laugh and there's even a cameo from Justin Timberlake which only adds to the mystery of trying to finding him in between sequences. As for the music, it's one of those beats and lyrics that stay in your head for a long time, short, simple and safe...humor going as bonus due to the fact the way the duo perform it as a serious rap-like manner. Pure solid comedy gold and never gets old. 10/10

Here we got "Jizz in My Pants", another song and music video by The Lonely Island, a band including Emmy winners Andy Samberg and Akiva Schaffer and yeah the title of these150 seconds we got here is very telling and you will see several awkward situations where the SNL protagonists have a problem with being aroused sexually way too quickly and way too intense. I guess it is obvious. Making fun of themselves, usually in a sexual manner is the routine of The Lonely Island, and this is one of their defining works, which does not say anything positive really about their efforts. Another problem here is that in my opinion, this was also not a catchy song by any means. I assume many see it differently looking at the rating here when it comes to the video's entertainment value, how funny it is and how much they like the song. It is probably also true that personal bias had me hate this one here really (well, maybe hate is too strong a word) because I could not care less abotu Schaffer and I find Samberg's routine pretty uninspired, unlikable and almost always the same. It's true today and it seems it was also true 10 years ago when these 2.5 minutes were made. So a huge thumbs-down from me and I think you may wanna skip this one unless you quite love other Lonely Island stuff. I know I don't. Highly not recommended.
