An arcade style 3-D car racing game.

Pressing select on the Nes controller would change the graphic to the 3D mode that could be viewed with any standard pair of blue and red lense 3D glasses.

When presented with a game over screen, you could hold down The A button and select, then start the game again and it would take you back to the last level you where playing. This was a secret that works on many NES games developed by Nintendo, including Super Mario Brothers.

The NES, as everyone knows, is an 8 bit console, so the idea of a psuedo 3D racing game is straight up unheard of, especially for the time. But, the mad lads behind this game did it, and did it well. This is great for an NES game, not just visually, but gameplay-wise as well. It controls very well for it being a psuedo 3D racing game, as the D-Pad works surprisingly well. It's amazing how a game like this can run buttery smooth on the NES for how close it is to simulating 3D visuals, and for 1987, that's mind blowing. Time hasn't been too kind to this game, however, as the modes are very basic and the game, as a whole, doesn't have a lot of replay value, but, it's still definitely worth anyone's time if they are either a retro gamer or racing fan, as it's not only fun, but a very intriguing part of gaming history. It may be a bit basic by today's standards, but for what it is, it's still pretty astounding.
