I was quite amused by this episode as it instead focused on Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst. I will admit that I really don't know how Sunburst was even aware of the friendship map. Still, this was quite nice. The animation seemed really top notch in this episode, especially the facial expressions. Well, they're always that great. I was confused as to why they were talking about their parents like that.

It made it seem like they were siblings. We got to see Sunburst's mom and Starlight's dad, but not vice versa. You'd think their other parents would play some role. This still had a fairly unexpected resolution. I always praise this show for creativity. Dang it, why weren't these characters in the movie?! ***

This episode was decent, not great, but decent. It's fun to see Starlight and Sunshine deal with their issues as neither has ever been very good with embarrassment, and the comments from the townsfolk were pretty funny. And I thought this episode had a nice message at the end, especially when you see the parent's embarrassing habits come from a place of love. However, overall there was nothing really great about it, perhaps it was due to the obviousness of the parents' personalities or the setup. Perhaps, I'm just being a cynical, jaded adult. Your kids'll like it.
