Chris's patients Mel Wickens and her ex-partner Gary are anxious to score points off each other at their daughter Ellie's school nativity play by looking their best. Mel even invites Chris to make Gary jealous but when they turn up they find that Ellie has hatched a plan to get her parents back together. Howard meets up with Gina at the gym but is taken aback when she wants him to exercise with her though a second date seems more hopeful. Kevin meets Nadia and learns that his father is not keen to have any contact with him despite his condition.
