Having witnessed several crime scenes which seemingly appeared out of nowhere that morning, Montse was finally able to reach the road right when a car drove past and, luckily, slowed when she flagged it down so as to hitch a ride. Relieved as she was that she no longer needed to flee and feeling safe in the hands of the mysterious and eccentric driver, Montse could not imagine what came next. The young man, charming in his own way and lavishing her with honorable intentions, allowed her to bathe, offering her a fresh set of clothes to relax and help her feel at home. The clothes turned out to be a bridal gown and all of a sudden she noticed how guests were beginning to arrive to the house. Although this time around, the young host will not be successful in fulfilling his true intentions of kidnapping the young lady and offering her as the 'main course' to his guests in this truly peculiar 'supper' occasion.

This short film was made specifically to participate in the Concurs del Rotllo (literally: the 'Reel Contest'), a film festival for projects made in Super8 which took place in the town of Terrassa, within the province of Barcelona and whose criteria consisted of turning in a movie without having developed it first; making it such that any editing had to be done directly with the camera with no mistakes allowed. Also, the participants weren't able to see their movie in its entirety until opening night of the festival.

All of the Cast & Crew were 19 or under at the time of filming.

This was to be director Sergi Rubió's first short film of his career for which he won fourth place at the aforementioned event, a place where the movie was also screened for the first time on the 20th of December, 1997.

This is an example of one of director Sergi Rubió's short films, one which contained a single previously recorded song as its' only soundtrack; the volume of which was never tweaked with and such was the case for so many of Rubió's short films which similarly opted for a sole soundtrack. This basic tendency would last until the 2006 and it wasn't until the 2012 when he began to explore the possibility of going back and actually changing the soundtracks to his various films.

In the following years, Rubió distributed his subsequent work back when the various festivals still had projectors for Super 8. This was good news since he had indeed filmed in Super 8 and was busy promoting his short film to all the festivals in Catalonia that he could find.

Long before completing his training in film production, with a filmography in Super 8 already behind him, it was while shooting Torrella, una vida pel cinema (1997) that Sergi Rubió discovered he still had energy to shoot this short film. As was the case with the full length feature film, so was it true for the new project at hand in which Rubió decided to undertake most of the important positions himself, already in addition to that of producer, screenplay writer and director. He was also the Cinematographer, the Camera Operator and in this case was also able to count on the help of his childhood classmates as far as all tasks relating to electricity, technical issues, Production Design, Make-up and Wardrobe (each one working pretty much out of their own home.)
