Most of the incidents depicted in this series have been inspired or taken from real life Indian television acting experiences of the cast.

The title of the series is inspired by the opening conversation between Vincent Vega and Jules Winfield in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. When Jules informs Vincent about Mia Wallace having done a pilot of a tv show, he curtly replies "I don't watch tv!"

Rajeev Masand's torture sequence in the third episode pays homage to the Ludovico scene of Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange.

The Producers were very apprehensive of using a Bombay Velvet/No smoking joke in the final episode after Anurag Kashyap agreed for a significant cameo in the series. To their relief, Anurag was not only extremely sporting, he also improvised on the joke.

The entire team of IDWTV dared to do something new (for Indian TV at least). Satires aren't easy to pull off in a manner that gets people's appreciation, and doing something like this for the first time is the zenith of all challenges.

The irony, wit, wise cracks, and tongue in cheek humor was quite tasteful. Never got bored or "skipped" parts at all. The fact that prominent TV actors were involved made it more enjoyable! Even though it was coherent, every episode offered something new to the viewer.

The best part was the concept of portraying the stereotypes associated with Indian TV in a very cheeky and hilarious manner! Refreshing to see that TV actors too can make fun of themselves freely ;-)

From the technicality of making such a web series, writing a good yet novel script, to the actual outcome, IDWTV was in no way boring or offensive. To the contrary, it actually resonates with any and every avid Indian TV serial viewer ;-)

Can't wait for season 2 !

10/10 = infinity ;) Breaking TV stereotypes. First web-series I have watched while being an owl all night & found it true laughter game. Its simply hilarious, quirky, witty cutting the slang out of the box. Storytelling bang on,awesome innovation with musical sense yet being edgy. Every single details pin pointed perfectly from picture on toilet paper, star's farting publicly to chabbar's poster. Every single celebrities (in the web- series) having feelings & emotion with humour sarcasm flowing every where of their own. Keeping things short stated yet funny, hysterical, making audience believe the deep rooted reality on stars ! Thumbs up! Waiting for season 2

What a wonderful web series. How effortlessly has every character performed. So likable. Thank you for bringing out something totally different than the regular stuff. The cameos were great. Especially Sana Sheikh, Ritvik Dhanjani, Drashti and Kritika. The "Golu ka Mundan" part was absolutely hilarious. Dadi ki rangoli hahhaha. Basically each episode was pure entertainment.

Also, made a quite a bunch of people including my sister watch it (people who were refraining from watching earlier). They were hooked to all the five episodes religiously. You people are amazing

Looking forward for more entertainment from you guys. Superb! Keenly waiting for the next season.

5 episodes and left me awaiting for more. One of the most refreshing web series I've ever watched, no wait, I think "I Don't Watch TV" is THE only web series I've been able to watch from the beginning to the end at one go, hooked to my mobile screen and laughing out hilariously. Apart from the fact that it makes you laugh, it is REAL. It brings out the real world of Indian TV. It is irony, sarcastic, daring and wise. The story, the concept, the dialogues, the locations, the get-ups and especially the thought were all amazing, fabulous. And big applause to the TV actors, among whom, many are my favourites, who were able to pull this thing off, they were commendable and seemed to be free doing something they love and something they wanted to portray to people. Quality of the web series was exemplary as well. A world's apart web series which broadcasts you to something real, reasonable, crispy, inoffensive and I just want to say, I loved it. Waiting for Season 2.

Some real quality web series are being made in India right now and their visual quality is also improving day by day. This series takes a collection of real TV stars and makes them behave like normal actors for a change! Though apart from that there's nothing normal about the show... the storytelling style, the characters, some really outlandish and at times bizarre sequences that are very hilarious in nature! Check it out for some wonderful cameos - Anurag Kashyap and TV critic Rajiv Masand my favorite! the entire conversation about Darth Vader's Indian wife is poison! Epic.. and very stylish! check out the scene with a baby... it's crazy! These guys are evil!! In a good way ;) Waiting' for the next season...
