Christian King's Prometheus lab receives eight pictures, seven of which predict that a schoolboy called Jack Barclay will drown in an underground sewer. Jack has played truant with older friend Danny, whose car is amongst the images, but Danny is, for whatever reason, obsessed with Jack and imprisons him in an underground cell which begins to flood Rebecca tracks down Danny but he gets run over and killed. Added to the race of time to save Jack is the presence of an eighth image, which Christian has kept from Rebecca, because it shows an apparently dead Ben Holt.

After last week's less than thrilling opener I wasn't sure if I'd bother with further episodes, thankfully this episode seemed quite a bit better. Once again the team have a set of photographs that appear to show the future. Each member of the team has a different attitude to them; D.S. Holt doesn't believe they show the future and the events of the last episode was just a coincidence, D.I. Flint thinks they give a warning of a possible future which they can prevent and D.C. Gada is unsure that they should be changing that which is meant to be.

Again most of the pictures appear to make little sense at first, after all a close up of what appears to be marble, a padlock and a pigeon could be anywhere, a picture of a drowned boy shows that they have a life to save though... they are only shown seven pictures, the eighth, which shows a dead member of the team is held back. Once again the team piece together the clues and converge on the site indicated in the picture, the question is will they be able to change things this time?

While there are no spectacular explosions this week we get enough excitement with a possible witness being hit by a car and DI Flint engaging in a bit of breaking and entry. Dr King continues to act somewhat aloof but was less creepy than in the opening episode, we are also getting to know a bit more about his employers and there are hints about the nature of his project and his theory about the origin of the pictures.
