Seasons in the Sun (1986) Online

Assuming you remember a certain smash hit of the 70s, Terry Jacks' SEASONS IN THE SUN(a bubble-gummy resurrection of Jaques Brel's terminal illness themed bummer), then your curiosity might be piqued by this obscure film which was apparently inspired by that song...and features Mr. Jacks in the lead role. That said, you'll not be surprised to know that there is, indeed, a terminal illness story in play here...HOWEVER...I doubt you'd see this expecting........AN ESPIONAGE DRAMA. w * T * f ?

I think its safe to say that Terry Jacks will forever be a fixture in one-hit-wonderland for SEASONS IN THE SUN(the song). Well...I can't imagine Mr. Jacks being similarly honored for SEASONS IN THE SUN(the movie). He's pretty wooden...the rest of the cast are merely adequate, some appearing a little pensive about their participation in this very weak Canadian cash-in project. I can't say I blame them.

3/10 -- Entirely unnecessary, but if you're a Terry Jacks fan, you might find the simple novelty of it mildly amusing.
