In a small rural town in Ireland in the year 1977, two detectives have been given the task of finding the identity of a serial killer before they strike again. After the mysterious death of a young boy on the beach , Detective Murphy and Detective Maguire investigate the crime scene leading to dramatic discovery for the hunt for the murderer. In the following weeks , numerous members of the community have met their fatal end at the hands of the still unknown serial killer. It is when Detective Murphy makes a dramatic realization , he confronts the killer in an intense climatic battle which challenges him emotionally and physically.
