Zoe Slusar is actually a Canadian playing a polish girl living in Ireland.
Some of the cast is made up of Stand Up Comedian friends of the director (Keith Anderson) He himself pursued a career on the Irish Comedy Circuit.
Much of the dialogue comes from conversations overheard in Irish bars.
