This pro-life preach fest is truly a monument to bad films.

It is the story of a church leader and anti-abortionist who beats his wife and walks out on her after she refuses to abort the baby that belongs either to him or the man who raped his wife.

Another story is about a detective whose kidney disease miraculously disappears and she has a laugh about it with the doctor who misdiagnosed it.

The other story is about the wife's slutty friend who finds God and goes back to her ex-con partner.

This is one screenplay that should never have made it out of the bottom drawer.

I read the reviews and ALMOST didn't watch this film but I figured that we all have different tastes in movies, so why not give it a go?

I LOVED IT. Sure, it was about a bunch of really awful stuff that REALLY happens to people and about religious hypocrites, which are also EVERYWHERE. The message was basically how God works everything for one's good. Sure, just like many faith-based movies some of the acting was a bit cheesy, but I thought it sent a great message!

I was looking forward to watching this bc the trailer looked really interesting. But I could not get into it longer than 25 min, all of the actors in this movie are so bad. Absolutely hands down they are by far some of the worst ones I've unfortunately had to watch. I gave it 3 stars for the sroeykib

Wow... This could have been good. The script was OK, but the acting... Absolutely awful.

The first 5 minutes I had to wrestle with myself - do I continue and deal with E grade acting or quit?

Well, I stuck it through and the message and script was OK, but all acting was terrible. There is no talent amongst any of the actors and they had no ability to portray any believable emotion, they all fell flat in every scene. It was like watching paint dry. Cardboard cut outs would have done better.

I gave this 2* only because the message was good, however, everything else failed.

WARNING-this review contains possible spoilers...A really quite good movie...well acted, reasonably scripted, and decent direction...a woman goes to a party when hubby is out of town, and gets drugged, raped, and pregnant. To really complicate things, she and said hubby have been trying to conceive for a long time, with no results...where the story line falls a little flat is the police station, and just how neatly the case unfolds...minor gripe, but not the movie's high point...as good as most television dramas, for what it's worth...now spoiler, and major gripe...Jonas, the hubby, is scripted as such a self- righteous prick it almost makes the last twenty minutes of the film unwatchable...he is so arrogant, self congratulating, and two faced one really wants to just beat him down...badly...so, kudos to the players, the script writer, and director for giving us such an unlikable villain...too bad they also had to make him a self-proclaimed "Christian"...pretty sure Jesus would not have done what he does..

Women have the right to have an abortion or not, but some religious organisations particularly in the US consider that abortion is murder. The story initially followers a campaigner and her husband who are fighting against abortion. The woman is raped and has a choice whether to get an abortion or not - her husband changes his mind and thinks she should. Another case of double standards.

The woman though decides not to, resulting in divorce from her husband, who cannot accept to support her with a baby that is not her's. It demonstrates the hardness of the church in part.

God though takes control of the situation and the woman is blessed by a child, who changes her life for good.

Well-worth watching as it may change your outlook.
