Joint Lithuanian-Finish project came into screens starting 2014. Not sure, but probably this is a first or at least very rare modern Lithuanian-Finish film makers cooperation. As local anticipation level of the movie was pretty high it's hard to get rid of some expectations… and this time they were little higher. To tell the screen story of 1.30 hours length with I would say very ambitious and profound plot is really brave step for the director who has just started his career in directing full screen movies. The title of the movie in general is not the something cornerstone in overall estimation though good and decent ones makes fine accord. In our case the "Santa" is nice shot. . Creator's aspirations to reveal complexity of single mother her 7 years old son- and "Santa's" psychological and cultural-ethnic relationship triangular, requires something more than presence of finish star Korpela, at times unnatural dialogs involving tragic fate child Vincas and pretty static scenes that clearly lacks interrelation. A few words about soundtrack….it looks like there was a big trial to make a strong emphasis on it. No doubt it's notable, however a little bit chaotic and somehow does not correspond to the storyline sentiment.
