Memoirs of a Madam (1999) Online

I don't like Mike Quasar's porn, even when he hides behind the Quasarman monicker or serves as secret flunky for other directors. But MEMOIRS OF A MADAM proves every dog can have its day, a quality storyline XXX video boasting a terrific cast.

Not CITIZEN KANE by any means, it has that time-honored flashback structure of a journalist interviewing a retired brothel Madam (non-sex role played by Marion) about her career. Lovely Claudia Chase is terrific as the younger version of Marion's title character, going from innocent to savvy pro over the course of many sex vignettes.

There is a sense of credibility to what is shown here, but what makes MADAM work is a very interesting set of performers, both unknowns and superstars. My chief interest in watching it was to see Bobbi Bliss, my all-time favorite practitioner of deep throat on screen, but rarely cast in storyline features (even C.J. Laing was able to escape from gonzo, but not BB). Bobbi delivers an excellent mixed-combo blow job, but is outdone by an even more stimulating deep throat vignette.

Caroline Pierce deep throats Kyle Stone, who is playing a piano, with her located beneath and out of sight. He portrays a corrupt mayor who frequents the brothel. She's a performer worth following.

The terrific Inari Vachs is the handsome interviewer, whose sex scene is saved for the end, good sexual suspense since she's in essence the main protagonist. Jake Steed also pops up in a throwaway but nonetheless stimulating black-on- black flashback.
