A fabulous, romantic and beautifully made film, with brilliant acting and mind-blowing cinematography. A young woman, in Brooklyn in the early 1960's, is getting ready to leave New York. On the way to the station, she stops at her local church to visit her priest one last time. Their conversation takes place in the confessional but unforgettable, dream-like flashbacks show us different sides to their story. Judy Greer (better known for her comic roles in big Hollywood pictures) as the woman gives her only serious dramatic performance ever, and she is spectacular. David Arrow as the priest is also excellent. The period detail -- from costumes, to make-up, down to the shoes Judy wears when she tap-tap-taps into the church for the first time -- everything is perfect. It's like watching Tippi Hedren in "The Birds" again. Director Coppola has put together a small masterpiece; here's someone to watch out for. Try to find it on DVD in the USA or UK.
