Built In Sun is a new project from Joe Plummer (Cold War Kids/The Shins/Modest Mouse/Black Heart Procession) and Pall Jenkins (Black Heart Procession/Three Mile Pilot/Mr. Tube and the Flying Objects). I met up with Joe and Pall in South Park. We talked about the new album, how it came to be, the songwriting process, and what we can look forward to from the band: THE HISTORY OF BUILT IN SUN Joe was working on a collection of music during breaks between drumming for The Shins and Cold War Kids releases. Joe asked Pall if he would work on some vocals and lyrics for a track. Pall said yes, and what came out of that collaboration sounded so good that a band was born.
