This was the second Lonesome Luke comedy produced by Pathé, but Harold Lloyd does not appear in it, nor did Hal Roach produce or direct it. Pathé re-named the character Lazy Luke and aborted the series after four entries, in deference to the Roach/Lloyd Lonesome Luke series being produced at Rolin.

This film was the first in a series titled 'Phunphilims' (how pathetic) directed and produced by Hal Roach. It's not necessarily a Lloyd film, but then Roach was bankrolling all of Lloyd's output. The plot is basically the devoted husband calling his obsessed wife every ten minutes. Now I know that on average husband's call their wives up about three times a day, but every ten minutes. Come on!
