Paddington offers to lend a paw with the washing, and to do some of Mr. Curry's pullovers as well in the launderette. The Brown's laundry needed hot water, whereas Mr. Curry's pullovers warm water. Paddington uses two machines, but reverses his instructions with disastrous results for the pullovers. He also has trouble with the tea-vending machine.
