The show is based on a popular South Korean series of the same name.
The series was partly inspired by "The Tale Of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens.
Spencer Kiesling had to wear large clothes and use extensive CGI to hide his large muscles and eight pack because his charecter was known to be a skinny boy.
The famous murder scene took one take to film and actually lead to the death of 4 extras.
Spencer's death scene took over 4 hours to film because of all the cast members crying.
