Simon notices that the moon is disappearing, and he fears that someone must be stealing it. Rachel helps Simon and the other TreeSchoolers discover that the moon is not really gone. In the process, they learn about the phases of the moon, gravity, the planets in the Solar System, and a lot of American Sign Language. They also learn the importance of not jumping to conclusions.
