This episode looks at the work of some of the greatest of dance pioneers from the Commedia dell'Arte in 17thC Italy, to Martha Graham in 20thC America. Fonteyn visits the Parthenon, Greece, and speaks of the career of Isadora Duncan, who based her dance movements on Greek sculpture.
