To Catch a Fly (2017) Online
A retiring gun for hire gets assigned the job of guarding a young, feisty Hungarian beauty in a remote cottage somewhere in the French Ardennes. Heat, stench and boredom push their relationship to the edge until only an irrevocable deed can establish some sort of new order.

The film was shot in the summer of 2016, but due to the bad weather it kept uncertain for a long time whether the shooting could proceed. Even a day before the start of the shoot, with all cast and crew all ready to go in France, rain came pouring down. But the next day, all clouds disappeared and the sun was so bright that the productions assistants had to bring lots of sunscreen and ice creams to the set.
Some of the tattoos of leading actor Manou Kersting are real, but the ones that had to be made, he designed himself.
Director Sanne Kortooms has, together with a childhood friend and her parents, visited the house in Brouennes since she was a kid. Amazed by it's weird and scary vibe, the big ax. the darkness at night and the missing of proper toilet and internet connection, she started to love the place. Now, Sanne returns to the house at least one week every year to work on new ideas.
The outside toilet used in the film is real.
