Hope so! I've loved TCM ever since it's early days (when AMC ruled as THE classic film station (SANS commercials) and was only followed by the now defunct Nostalgia Channel and an early incarnation of TNT in showing the cult films of yester-year) so it's pretty damn neat that a distinguished station (now THE place to see classic & off beat flicks) has developed their own series devoted to the left-of-center in celluloid. Is TCM Underground like Movie Macabre? No. Or Maybe MST3K? Nope. Off Beat Cinema? No way. Not even Creature Feature Or Shock Theater but it fits in with all of these great horror hosted programs and Rob Zombie's poker faced approach is all meat and no filler. I see that IMDb's listing of this show with a first season may mean a following season. Hope so. And as far as the choice of films: no complaints, perfect. Since Turner Classic has shown that they're not afraid to venture into a more alternate venue maybe films by the late Andy Milligan or Charles Pierce or Del Tenney (to name but a very few) will get mainstream due. Now if I could only find my old VHS tapes of Quentin Tarantino hosting German horror films from the sadly gone TRIO channel or if IFC would stop slapping adverts on the end credits of their films (that's not marketing that's disrespect!) my world would be near perfect..

I really wish they'd put this on around midnight or 11PM instead of regulating it to 2 in the morning. It's a great throwback to the old late night movie creature double feature shows, and it's clear Rob Zombie knows what he's talking about and giving great facts about these cult films. The wide variety of films they show from the old poverty row productions to the blacksploitation movie and Russ Meyer films really adds to TCM programming as a whole. I hope they keep the show around, because not only do I enjoy the films, but the wraparound segments giving the information about the film, stars and directors, as well as some of the clips and interviews they show during the previews.

Rob Zombie is one of my favorite entertainers...and he's hosted some of my favorite and unknown films on TCM Underground. So far, my favorite episode was the one with Freaks, but I enjoy the trivia and background info. that Zombie states both before and after the films. Keep doing it TCM! Zombie is a great addition to your crew and with a DVR it doesn't matter that it's on so late on Friday nights/Saturday mornings. I'd like to see more Lon Chaney films, odd cult films that either aren't yet out on DVD or have been OOP from a while. What about some Herchell Gordon Lewis flicks or Lon Chaney Jr. episodes of Inner Sanctum, I think that he clue is to keep it different!
