I've been going through this site looking for films I'd seen at festivals. I saw this film in Palm Beach at the Palm Beach International Festival. My husband and I made sure to see as many movies as possible and this by far had to be one of the best. The soundtrack was incredible and the actors couldn't have been better. Truly unique.

A cinematic jewel, this film is a stunning original. One is awed by the intense emotion and remarkable depth of the The Passion. Jeremy Osbern is to commended for creating such a memorable work. Truly, this is cinematic art at its best.

The tript to Dahlonega, GA, and viewing the film, The Passion, was an extraordinary experience for me and friends who shared the experience. I can only commend this talented, young fil maker, and I believe that Jeremy Osbern has a wonderful future in the film-making industry. Today Mr. Osbern masters short films, full feature films are just ahead. I hope to be there to share Mr. Osbern's excitement and success.

A beautifully produced and directed film. Provocative and thoughtful in its content with multiple layers of symbolism. Cinematography is superb as is the acting and the editing. Unquestionably the best short film I have seen in years.

Jeremy Osbern's short film "The Passion" is a beautiful, passionate rendering of the roller coaster stages of a relationship - from the first meeting to (literally) the bitter end. He has a great gift. I have seen it in three film festivals that I have been at now and the audience never fails to be completely and totally swept away by the film. As a feature filmmaker, I only hope it never opens for a film of mine - as it is one tough act to follow. But, I am sure this guy is headed for his first feature very soon. Watch out for him. You will be glad you did.

I saw this short film when it premiered at the Palm Beach International Film Festival, and when it won Audience Favorite for Best Short Drama at the Dahlonega (Georgia) International Film Festival. The plot follows a young attractive couple through a sequence of emotions, accompanied by tango music. The couple is dressed only in underwear throughout the film; in place of dialogue, they write comments on each other's bodies. What could be more sensual than a young attractive couple doing the tango in their underwear? Unique, moving...Passionate!! Highly recommended.

The Passion is probably one of the most original short films it has ever been my pleasure to watch. It is a beautiful piece of work and it's always good to see someone telling a story without saying a single word. I can only hope that this isn't the last we'll see of Mr. Osbern's work.

This film is a bit like watching a painting come to life, or a ballet through the imagination of the choreographer. The camera angles, lighting, and direction show the insight of a director that has a career of filmmaking behind him - and yet Osbern was only 20 years old when he made this film! At the same time, the screenplay has somewhat of a simplicity to it - which, here, is not a bad thing. Often the most moving things in life appear simple - and often career directors feel the need to move to more convoluted themes in an attempt to avoid cliche. So, here, I feel that Osbern's age served him well, as he was not afraid to tackle passion and love without disclaimer or apology. And he managed to add a unique signature to this film. "The Passion" has been travelling around garnering critical acclaim here and there, and with the momentum it has built for Osbern, I can't wait to see what he does with an eventual full-length feature.

What a fantastic film! It is so unique in its' style and execution. The tone of the film is also very passionate and moving. I loved the fact that the characters do not speak...it makes the plot all the more interesting. This is one of those rare films that truly captures passion, humor and drama all at the same time. We are waiting for more Jeremy Osbern!

This is quite possibly the worst movie I have seen in the last several years. I hope everyone involved in the making of this movie finds another job, as they obviously know nothing about making movies. The only thing that kept me watching the movie was to find out if the ending would be as bad as the rest of the movie, which it was. Please do yourself a favor and do not watch this dull, sorry excuse for a movie.
