It seems like this show has left us too soon, but then this 13th show of a final entire season that almost didn't happen goes out at the top.

Crane, Poole & Schmitt is being sold to the Chinese, perfectly appropriate an example of what is happening with our disaster know as free trade policy. Actually, the firm having to sell out is quite timely & predicts what appears to be the future of America. Within 5 years I think Americans will wake up one day & find out that the NYSE is going to be a regional exchange & that the center of the worlds financial universe is moving to China.

The challenge of the gay marriage law is quite appropriate as it never really has been our law systems business what 2 adults are doing in their bedroom. Alan & Denny make it legal which is very appropriate considering their relationship throughout this series. Our Government & Lawyers want Gay Marriage legal as it will produce more revenue for both. In a way that is ahead of its time here still but is bound to happen soon.

The Supreme Court Sequence & the Double Wedding at the fishing lodge are nicely staged. Denny even finds out he is getting his new drug too. I have to admit that even though Jerry Espson's kiss is satisfying, I was in love with that British blonde before this episode. Therefore, I am jealous that Jerry got that kiss, I wanted it.

I like the touch of the balcony sequence with the new Japanese owners sitting there replacing Alan & Denny. Of course they are saying That both our heroes are crazy, & in truth they really are. This series has been very consistent entertainment & I hated to see it end.

Chang, Poole & Schmidt is happening to the entire United States, it is now only a matter of when.

David E Kelly = Genius. This show topped all others! Casting was Perfect! Stories were/are timeless! This last episode, although sad, to see it end was the perfect ending. (We wonder just how many businesses could relate with a "very similar" type of takeover - as our was too, almost to the letter). :-( If you have not watched this show, it is worth a binge watch! Funny, Thoughtful, Frustrating. If you do not laugh, cry, get angry, feel inspired, get excited, feel frustrated, or have the urge to hug a loved one for no reason... you are not human.
