Was not released on DVD due to music rights issues. For the same reason the film was not released theatrically, though there was interest for that, mainly from France.
Demetri Jagger was set to play his uncle Mick Jagger, but he backed out because he was affraid Uncle Mick wouldn't approve. Instead of him, Andy Bird ('Madonna''s boyfriend) was brought in. He was credited as Andrew Richard.
Director Koolhoven stirred up the movie world when he publicly asked people to put the movie up on Pirate Bay. Fed up by the legal issues, he then put the movie on you-tube.
On a Dutch TV show about actresses (in 2009) actress/director Sanne Vogel said this one her favorite movie.
In the movie Suzy is asked for an autograph and signs it 'Suzy Q'. The autograph was in director Koolhoven's handwriting.
