Wade sort of resigns to being scolded by everyone for cheating on Zoe and wants to retreat at home, but is commandeered by the reverend as cashier at the congregation's annual fund-raiser. Alas, the strongbox disappears while Wade takes a short break, costing him a bitter looser-scolding from Lavon. Jonah makes a lighthearted move on Zoe and helps her see sense after she precipitously deduces from contagious throat infections that Max must have cheated on Rose with a girl who can't even stand him. While Magnolia sells out for a car, Lemon drags George along to Shelby's home auction in search of proof it's a gold-digger, but utterly fails to scare off Brick.
